Excellent craft beer selection and a lot of good single malt scotch too. Hidden gem.

This is my neighborhood liqueur store. They have a pretty great selection of beers and liqueur. A little pricey on the booze and beer but hey it’s not a discount store its a CONVENIENT store. The owners and the people who work here are great! They are always so kind! I really wish the deli was still open, they had some great sandwiches. Great place, great people!

We stopped by here on our way to Mtn. High for some sandwiches and drinks. Some kind of nuts were used in the veggie sandwiches which made it delectable and unique amongst other veggie sandwiches I ever had. The ingredients used was very fresh and its difference is very noticeable. It did take some considerable amount of time for our sandwiches to be made and it was definitely worth the wait.

I was so excited to find a good sandwich shop in Orange, and was very excited that it was in a liquor store, because that is just fun and different. I read the reviews and headed for a couple of sandwiches, I got my sandwiches and got back to the office and after unwrapping my turkey on sourdough I smelled something«off» after I took a bite and set the sandwich down i found black mold on the bottom of the bread. I took it back to the shop and the cashier told me that it was not mold and that the bread was always fresh… I was wrong! I dropped the sandwich on the counter and walked out… the truly unfortunate thing was the pastrami sandwich I had also purchased was fairly good but they need to update the website, they no longer offer 16″ sandwich and the prices are much higher than posted on the website… disappointing!

Okay, I’m not someone who would eat from the back of a liquor store. But KC liquor store & deli is an exception. They make the Best sandwiches. I was boycotting after they let Pedro go. I seriously stayed away for almost a year. Since this place is on the corner from my house, I got weak and caved. Wow, I sure did miss those tasty subs. Personal fav’s are Chicken salad with spicey mustard, the Italian!!! And the club on squaw with honey mustard. I usually get a large and share with my friends. Great value. I miss you Pedro.

This place is the absolute best deli in Orange County. I have been coming here for the past 2 years. This place does not look like any ordinary sandwich joint/deli. It is in the back of a liquor store and please for your own good DONOT judge a book by its cover! The quality of the food is not even comparable to a Subway or a Togos. The bread is the freshest, the meat is just right in taste and quantity and the condiments just bring the entire sandwich to perfection. The size of the subs are HUGE. I can usually split a 9 inch and be full! This deli is delicious and I eat here at least once a week :)

I’ve never actually had any of their deli foods — however! Their selection of beer and candies are great. I have made this my go-to spot to start off any night out. Any liquor or beer I need is just a quick stop away with this store around the corner. *note* they are flawed in that they don’t sell any Sweettarts — however, what they lack in multicoloured treats they make up for in beer. They have the standard selection of beer and then some. Not as much as you’d get at a superstore but for what it is — it’s great. Great service, never any creepy lurkers — I’m in, out and on my way to a good night in minutes. Reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? A+

The best deli sandwiches ever. All the meats and cheeses are high quality. Pedro, the sandwich guy, is the man. I say extra meat, i get extra meat. Jason, the part owner, does a great job running the place. My usual order: Turkey and Roast beef on squaw bread with double meat and pepper jack cheese. I visit here 3xs a week at least… no joke:)

This place was a mystery for months. Two co-workers were brought there by other friends and reported to me they had the most delicious sandwiches from a deli at the back of a liquor store somewhere on Tustin. Tustin Street in Orange or Tustin the city? Don’t know. What’s the name of the place? Don’t know. Great. Well, today we put the mystery to rest by successfully re-locating the deli. And true to description, there was a clean, fully stocked deli carved out in the rear of a liquor/wine/cigar store. There were even four wood tables with chairs and a bit of pub-like wood trim in the seating area. Man oh man, are these beeeeeautiful sandwiches. Generous portions of fresh, high quality deli meats between perfectly crispy French bread. My Italian sub came with mortadella with Pistachios, cappicola, provolone, Genoa salami, pepperocinis, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Italian dressing, mayo and mustard. I have not been so happy eating a sandwich since I last visited Potbelly’s in Chicago. My friend’s BLT had like 9 slices of bacon in it,(Check out the photo!!) and these were nicely thick bacon, not the Ralphs type that shrinks to a strip of plastic when you cook it. The sandwiches are not cheap — my 9-inch Italian sub cost about $ 9.50, and the 6-inch ones are about $ 6.50. But the sandwiches are hefty, and this is quality stuff, so I think it’s fairly priced. Get a 9-inch and split it with a friend! Warning: The sandwich prices on KC Liquor’s Web site are not the same as the prices in the store. The Web site probably has not been updated for a while.
