Now and Then Second Hand Store

My BF wanted to stop here before heading to the airport to go home and of course I obliged. I mean, I love watching «Storage Wars» and besides Barry, Jarrod and Brandi are my favorite!
The store is nicely laid out with some of the things that were in actual episodes on display. One side of the store has mostly all thrift store stuff, on the other side, there’s a wall of shirts to purchase. I got a Now and Then shirt for my nephew and my BF got an Outlaw shirt for himself … after like 5 tries! I swear, every time the guy went to check the stock in the back room, he’d come out empty handed because his size shirt wasn’t available.
There was only one person working there and it was Boz — he was super nice and helpful with us and another family that stopped by. My BF also took a pic with him, which made him happy!

I was greeted when I walked in. The young lady was genuinely interested in helping me find what I was looking for. As I browsed the store another employee (big kid) behind the counter was eager to help me too. They had a great assortment of items and it’s a fun place to shop. My advice to the owners… Price EVERYTHING! You have shirts not priced, the majority of the souvenirs, and a bunch of other smalls. Also, take down the hand written signs and print some out — Easier to shop and looks professional. Highly recommended!

Love the store. Watch Storage War all the time. Prices were good and selection of items very good.

Went in today out of curiosity, we had gone to the used bookstore next door. The girl at the register was so helpful and fun to work with. I don’t knew if she looks at this but she would know me from the Madame Alexander dolls she was working on. Can’t wait to visit again!

I was in the area and wanted to check out the store but they were closed. It was in the middle of the week and in peak time of day. I have not need to for a business that is closed.

I called their store today as we did not want to make a trip to the store if is not open. The answering service at the store said that they were open daily. I followed the link on the Unilocal website to Jarrod and Brandi’s store website. The website said that there is a new website coming soon and that their store hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ONLY from 11 am to 5 pm. That’s right — they are only open 18 hours per week. Either their business is soooo goooood that they don’t need to be open daily OR it is sooooo baaaaad that they can’t afford to stay open more than eighteen hours per week.
Eek! Methinks that it is the latter. I mean, it looks like they cannot even afford to update their answering service. OK, perhaps Jarrod and Brandi might answer that they sell most of their stuff on-​line. In order to do that don’t you have to rely on a website that is functional. What do you think? Are Jarrod and Brandi in trouble? You can answer this question ONLY if you have been in their store — do you care?

Storage Wars idiots flock to this place in droves. Reality says, I am not impressed, regardless because of the TV show on A&E this place should always be successful. At least they dont go around saying YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP like that one douchebag. None the less can you tell I am less than impressed and pretty much meh on this joint? Honestly, the bookman next door is way better, friendlier, and a used bookstore.
So what happens when you come in here? You see all kinds of photos of the wonder twins from Storage Wars, but you never seem to see them in person. I guess they are too good to be here anymore. ohhhhhh and get ready to see that really stupid gear that Jarrod always wears.
The prices are definitely not thrift and are more along the lines of high retail for almost everything. I guess when your a d-​rate celebrity on a minor show on a minor network that you can overcharge and people will continue to buy your stuff because of the show.
Overall the store has a lot of toys and furniture with all kinds of random odds and ends. If I still watched the show, well I may have recognized something but that is doubtful as they usually tape the show like 5 – 6 months in advance I think.
None the less they have some unique stuff here. However none of it is anything that I am interested in. it is also somewhat close to where I work and thus I can pop in at lunch when I am thrifting. However I know much better thrift shops in the area pricewise so I doubt I will be coming back here.
It just wasn’t for me. If you like this kinda TV celeb thing, then you should check this place out.

If it wasn’t for the store looking really organized and clean, it would have got a lower rating. The rating is based on the lone worker in the store. Now that I popped back onto Unilocal,I figured I will go back a few months as this employee has been on my mind on not what to do for customer service. I came in around end of October looking for some hangers. The young man near the counter was smoking an E-​Cig and checking out his phone which was much more important than what I came in for. Instead of telling me where I can buy hangers as a suggestion since they don’t sell hangers (probably use a lot for their clothes), I felt like he wanted me gone so he can go back to concentrating at whatever he was checking out when I started the conversation (he could have welcomed me into the store since it was just him and myself). I understand if you don’t sell the item but at least give me some customer service instead of trying to pry an answer since I wasn’t from the area. Where did I go? A couple of stores down to a Dollar Tree (or whatever it is called) where they had plenty of hangers for sale.
Owners, nice looking store but if these guys are too lazy then ship them out.

I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years. Bought numerous DVDs from here.
For Xmas shopping I stopped by and saw some football items. (a joe Montana football card) it was priced at 29.99 I asked why so expensive I was told by the worker that «we look them up online and base them off that» ok. I walked around a little more the worker and Bosak were arguing over him needing the day off the next day to pick up his car. It was really uncomfortable with all these guys yelling across the store so I decided to purchase the card to get out of there.
Fast forward to xmas when my dad opens it.
We looked the card up online and it’s going for 1.99−3.00.
So disappointed that their prices are so high, I feel a little scammed– but I guess that’s business right?

You should be ashamed of yourself !! My daughter was thinking she was buying me a really nice joe montana football card because your employees told her that was the value (30 bucks) they had found online !! THEY LIED TO HER !!! A1992 Fleer Gameday jJoe Montana #5 card is NO where near worth 30 dollars a PSA GRADED 9 I only going for 15 bucks on eBay AND THATS GRADED so a common card for 30 bucks is outrageous!!! I hope that people will read this and realize just how much your store lies and cheats it’s customers! I pray the what goes around comes around and that this store has the same faith as your other one had !!!

This place is a complete mess and filled with mostly junk and WAY over priced. I mean laughably over priced it’s crazy. Would consider returning to see what they have next but due to the outrageous prices for second hand items I will definitely not return again. Felt like I needed to rub a disinfectant after leaving the store for it was pretty grimy in there.

Great place with friendly staff. The store clerk gave my son a complimentary Hot Wheels toy still in the original packaging. These were the ones featured on an episode of storage wars.
Lots of stuff and great memorabilia.

If you’re a fan of Storage Wars, it’s definitely a place to stop by to see some of the things that have been won up for sale. They make sure to mark the items with signs saying «As Seen on Storage Wars» just in case you’ve missed it, and of course, they carry a higher price tag.
If you stumbled upon this place because you thought it was a normal thrift store, you’re gonna be disappointed. The prices are pretty high (because of the show) and there are a lot of pieces that are pretty scuffed up and damaged that you could buy brand new at the store for about the same price.
The staff is friendly and they don’t harass you as I’m sure a majority of the foot traffic is from people just browsing to say they’ve been. Some people had genuine questions about the merch and the workers had knowledgeable answers and conversed with anyone that wanted to chat.

My husband and son love «Brandi and Jarrod» so we made a special trip down to the store. The staff was so rude ! I asked a simple question about the price of an item and literally the guy bit my head off! Even the other employee was like «dude why were you being so rude?» Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there in the future or watching the show!

We were in town and thought to stop by and check out the store and hope to see the celebs. But it’s Saturday and they need a break too. I was extremely impressed by the store. I’ve visited many second hand stores and not only was it visually clean, it smelled clean. Items were placed in a neat order. The 2 staff guys were really nice, even though I tried to get a nice industrial chafing dish for $ 15 instead of $ 50 :). Lots of items I wanted, no room to carry back to the Bay Area.
I wish Brandi & Jarrod all the best because they really take pride in their store unlike others that I’ve seen on their show like Rene & Casey & Ivy, which looks like a dump.

I’ve never seen the show. Had no expectation. The guy working the place was cold, short, and shot a dirty look as I entered. Granted he was eating bags of fast food and had multiple TV shows on simultaneously (one of which was a Jersey Shore equivalent featuring a guy unwrapping dildos with his girlfriend) — but was I to feel bad for interrupting?
Their selection was mediocre and priced high.
In an age where customers have a voice and ultimately dictate the success of a business you’d think they’d put a little more effort into at least being welcoming.

Great store. The employee who was there was very helpful. This store is owned by Storage Wars stars Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante.

I love Storage Wars and Jarrod & Brandi, but there store was a bit of a dissapointment.
Since we are moving into a new house I thought I would find something here.
The furniture is pretty beat up, there have alot of everything!
Seems like they are trying to make money off of anything they can and the prices are a bit high.
I didn’t see anyone from the show, though their car was in the lot outside.
The staff was very nice and it was fun to see, though not worth driving out of your way for.
