I visited the jewelry store with my boyfriend and we very impressed with the selection and service that we received. Sam, the owner, was very helpful and kind! I will definitely be returning to browse the selection next time I am in the area.

Really really unbelievable selection. Especially if you’re looking for older pieces or emerald or sapphire, OC diamond estate has unique options that are typically difficult to find.

Last year, my friends and I wandered into this store because it looked quaint and I love antique jewelry. Anthony was very friendly to us and we spent some time in there (my friends and I all work in the high end jewelry business). I found a pretty antique watch and Anthony actually bargained with me when I couldn’t pay what he was asking and we agreed on a very fair price. It was a pleasant transaction and we enjoyed our visit there. A couple months later, the watch broke and I sent it to my watch maker through my employer. Then a month later, it stopped working again. As Anthony said for me to do, I shipped it back to him for repair. After a month, I hadn’t heard anything from him as to what was wrong with it or what he was going to do to remedy the situation but I had confirmation that the package had arrived and had been signed for. So I attempted to call and find out but when I called, the number was disconnected. I attempted to reach him numerous times to no avail and couild never find a new number. So I had to drive there (from the Westside) to see what was happening. When I arrived there, a man was tending the shop but it was not Anthony. I asked where Anthony was and he told me Anthony was no longer involved in the shop and he (the man I was speaking to) was now in charge. He was trying too hard to be nice and really a salesman, which was kind of irritating. I told him of the watch story and that I had shipped it there almost 6 weeks ago and had never heard anything about it. He looked confused and said, hmmmm, well I dont’ know about that. I showed him a copy of the signature the UPS delivery and told him it was obviously delivered and signed for. Then he said, oh, I think I remember something like that but I don’t have the watch. I asked where it was and why and he flippantly replied that Anthony had it and he didn’t speak to Anthony anymore (some sort of family spat and this was his Uncle apparantly). I said, well I’ve tried to call here numerous times but your phone is disconnected and now you gave me watch to somebody that you don’t even have contact with? He insisted his phone wasn’t disconnected and I said, well then pick it up and you’ll see! He said, well, then I’ll just pay the bill but that’s not your concern. I was so shocked at this guy’s attitude. I asked him to give me Anthony’s contact information and he refused, I asked him to call Anthony himself and he refused and he got nastier and nastier and told me to get the F out of his store when I would not back down. I asked him how I was supposed to get my property back and he said he didn’t know and get out! So I informed him, after much heated discussion, that I was filing a theft report with the Orange police department unless he asissted me in retrieving my watch and that I would leave a VERY negative review of his store on Unilocal.I asked him if he realizes what social media can do to a business when they treat customers like this and again the insisted I leave the store. I left the store and the next day, the jerk called me and said he’d «located» my watch and would have it repaired and shipped to me, being as nice as could be except for the threat of him leaving a negative review on here of MY employer who isn’t even a public retail business! I got my watch that week, properly repaired. This guy was nothing but a scumbag and the store has now gone out of business. You get what you deserve.

I came in having done a fair amount of research online, but still unsure of what exactly I wanted for my fiancé. Anthony and the staff at OC Estate & Jewelry really took the time to educate me on what I was buying. From styles, to cuts, to materials, to sizing; he did it all.
I had been to a fair amount of other store (Ranging from small mom-​and-​pop stores to the big-​box-​stores) and I really got a great vibe from OC Estate & Jewelry. They were not pushy at all, their prices are more than fair, and they are very honest. After meeting with Anthony once I knew this was wear I was going to get my engagement ring.
The attention to detail was incredible. We had multiple meetings discussing the intricacies of my ring, including filigree, hidden stones, cuts, prongs, diamond size and cut, balance, you name it we discussed it. He even went as far as pretending not to know me when my girlfriend and I walked in.
I ended up with a completely custom ring with an antique stone. My fiancé gets complements on it all the time and she loves it. Anthony was able to incorporate all the elements we wanted and truly made it special.
Anthony and the staff at OC Estate & Jewelry have a customer for life. We are coming back to have our wedding bands made. I recommended him to all my friends and anyone here on Unilocal in the market for new or antique diamonds and custom jewelry.

The owner Anthony is never there on time, this place is always closed and don’t come after hours on a road bike! He literally will give u a death look and waive his hands around that he does not want your business. When I called and told him that I was a customer, he said he didn’t care… he said «there’s lot’s of Bums that go around riding bikes and he doesn’t respect those people,. Short story — Anthony at OC Estate worked with my BF and I to make a customer engagement ring and it came out AMAZING. We had been to every antique/​estate jeweler and about 50 other jewelers from San Diego to Los Angeles without finding something I like, but the ring Anthony made us completely surpassed my expectations and imagination… that’s saying a lot coming from a perfectionist like myself; it wearable art Anthony was amazing to work with and I really felt like he cared about us, our ring and making sure we were happy. He worked with our budget and gave us a ring that to me looks like it cost twice as much. I am extremely happy with the service and product I got from Anthony!
Long story — I first came to OC Estate looking for an antique ring and found one I liked but was way outta my price range cause the stone was huge. While I was there I talked to Anthony for seriously like an hour about having a ring made, which I’ve heard the whole «we can make anything you want» speel before in the LA district, but for some reason I felt really comfortable with Anthony and trusted him so I went home and told my BF «I didn’t find the ring, but I found the guy». After another month of looking we found a ring I loved, but it was a more modern look and I really wanted a vintage feel with an old diamond. So instead we went to OC Estate so my BF could meet Anthony and see if he felt as confident about him as I did. While we were there Anthony showed us a diamond that totally blew away any other diamond we’d seen in the price range, a transitional cut, old European which was exactly what I wanted. As I’d been looking at diamonds for 5 months and reading all sorts of blogs I became embarrassingly knowledgeable on diamonds and I will tell you Anthony has good diamonds. Some places would try and tell me how great their stones were and I would look at them and be like WTF is that?! Not Anthony, he won’t try and sell you crap as a delicacy, he knows his stones and he’s a fair and honest guy. Because of his diamond and how much time he spent with us, making us feel comfortable and listening to our concerns we gave him a deposit that day which is very out of character for my BF and I who have to research and Unilocal everything.
To make our ring I brought Anthony photo’s of the one I liked and we talked extensively about the modifications I wanted (primarily I wanted to add a gallery with a half moons design). After a couple weeks we came back to see the ring and decided to make a couple alterations which Anthony was able to do. During this time I also realized I was allergic to white gold, which our ring was made out of, so Anthony ended up re-​making our ring in platinum and was very understanding and gave us a fair price on the remake. Honestly we thought he was going to tell us to bugger off because I was such a pain (it’s true, I was) but he didn’t and in the end when he brought us our ring, I opened it and was floored. It was so much prettier then I had imagined it could be… seriously, how often are your expectations so thoroughly surpassed?! Mine were so high I had decided I was being unrealistic, but he totally surprised me with how amazing it came out… so much prettier then the original pics I brought him. Anthony’s jeweler is amazing with detail, filigree and milgrain, the ring looks like an antique in all the best ways. I feel very lucky to have found this place and end up with the ring I have, and for Anthony to be such a good honest guy.

Finally after the wedding I’m am free enough to update my review. Our bands and my engagement ring turned out beautiful. Tony recommended a beautiful band for my fiancé and he loved it. I absolutely recommend telling tony what u like and he won’t steer you wrong. My ring was flawless. I even took it to «The Engagement ring store» (that will remain nameless) and they asked me if it was a designer ring! The ring sure was designer but the price definitely wasn’t. :D Save your hard earned cash and go to OC estate for a quality custom piece, flawless diamonds and the best customer service. This place is amazing!!! The pieces are so unique and beautiful. There is something for everyone. The prices are super great and they are really fair with offers. Super personal service. I will continue to come here for all of my jewelry wants and needs.

I was looking for nice necklace to buy for my grandmother for her birthda. I found this place on an online recommendation. When i got there i felt very comfortabl; it was not like one of those big chain jewlers. There was a very relaxed atmostphere, the owner of the shop was the one that helped me pick the amethyst piece for her. I would definitely go back there if I decide to buy more jewelry. In fact, I was looking at their diamond rings for my girlfriend and noticed that they had some great quality and even better deals on them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Anthony & Ash are amazing. They have gorgeous jewelry ranging from antique estate pieces to modern pieces. You’ll find exactly what you’re looking for and the quality will far surpass anything you would find in a mall jewelry store. They have a huge selection of beautiful emeralds as well as all the hard to find precious gemstones. I am so happy with my new ring. I will wear it forever and it will be a family heirloom. I couldn’t have found a more exquisite addition to my collection for the incredible price they gave me. The customer service made me feel like a princess. This store is a treasure.
