OC Sports Equipment

We went in to check out a weight bench and some free weights. We liked a used bench but didn’t have a way to transport it and bring it home. After 2 – 3 weeks, we went back to see if it was still available and it still was. Confirmed the price as it didn’t have a price tag and said we would be back. The very next day, we got a friend to lend us his truck so we went to pick it up. The SAME sales person we talked with the two previous times now said the price just went up $ 20!!! What a scam. We have been here several times before to buy other used equipment as we like to support local family owned businesses. What a way to treat a repeat customer. We were so disgusted this guy was trying to take us for an extra $ 20 that we walked out. Total bummer we asked a friend to borrow his truck as it wasn’t easy to coordinate but we just couldn’t give in to this guy ripping us off.

These guys came through for me in a big way at the last minute. Just so happened they had a clean set of motocross riding gear for my son for riding AND a halloween costume. The gear was a top name brand and the price very reasonable. They have so much in their store it’s hard to walk out empty handed. They also offered to ship if needed!

I needed a pair of soccer cleats, didn’t want to spend a fortune and had no time. Actually called ahead and they were nice enough to check if they had my size over the phone. I was in and out in 10 minutes and got a barely used pair of cleats at a great price. Mike and his staff did a great job! I’ll be back

My son needed a new spring wetsuit. We took in his old one to trade it in on one that fit. The new owner of OC Sports Xchange took great care of us, helped use find a proper fitting wetsuit and made us a swap deal that we could not refuse. Awesome, friendly and very helpful courteous service. Will go back repeatedly.

This place is wonderful. new and used equipment at very low prices. I stocked up on brand new snow gear last year at a fraction of what I would have spent at REI or Sports Authority etc.

I have purchased several used items from here. They have great prices and the guys that work here are Awesome! Check here before younfo buy anything new.

Wow what a great place would friendly guys I just bought a football there for seven bucks or you can’t beat it actually have some stuff on consignment and they’re really cool they took it all gave me great prices for it and hopefully they’ll sell some of it I like the store I like getting stuff for less than list price and I’m pretty happy with them and I’m happy with their service

Awesome place to get the best prices on new or used sports equipment, or simply make a few extra bucks for stuff just taking up room in your garage. Staff is very friendly and I would much rather support a small business than pay some big company triple the money for the same product. Overall, you can’t go wrong here. Excellent concept!

Walked in the store and they greeted me with a friendly «hi» but as soon as they realized I was trying to sell them my snowboard boots, they seemed disappointed that I wasnt there to buy anything.

Purchased two 8 lbs weights for 8 dollars and some change each. I walked in, walked out within minutes, no problems. Got just what I wanted. Enjoyed friendly chit chat with the employees. I noticed they had a nice variety of bikes out front, particularly beach cruisers. I hope some trades in their super awesome gear bike soon ;)

Awesome deals on used sports equipment, especially pads. Great for the kids, staff is super nice.

Yesterday we purchased their GT Dyno bike and dang… It was as clean as a brand new bike! And the price just blew me away.
Either call ahead of time to see if they have what you’re looking for, or don’t go at all just to leave a negative feedback.

They Buy stolen property. My sister had a very expensive bike stolen from our backyard in Orange, Months later she seen a guy riding her bike stopped him and called the police, she found out he bought the bike at this store, She went in to the store and the guy who was working looked at the receipts and conviently that was the only receipt missing from that day so no knowing who stole the bike in the first place. In order for my sister to get her stolen bike back she had to pay the new owner of her bike $ 140. I guess this wasnt the first time that this has happend. Buyer beware and save your self the drama of being caught on someone elses stolen bike or property.

I looked at several things closely; hockey, skating, skiing, snowboarding, and cycling stuff. They had a decent selection of everything. Granted they had no Carbon Fiber Road Bikes, but would you ever expect a shop like to do so? Not really, it just would have been a nice thing if they did. Hence the reason for even stopping at a place like this.
Seriously these guys had all kinds of great stuff and that included a very large selection of baseball equipment, cleats for various sports, workout gear, etc.
The best part of my whole shopping experience here was the customer service. Both employees (one the manager) stopped me to verify if I needed any help and to let me know that they had a sale on certain items that I had been perusing, when it coincided with my perusing!
I will be back to check this place out semi-​regularly as they have a high turnover rate I am sure. Some absolutely awesome deals though. I highly suggest this joint as an option to see what all is available randomly as well!

Fair prices on the bigger used stuff: rackets, surfboards, skateboards, bats, kayaks, bikes. And great prices for the little accesories like free weights and balls.

I usually come her for softball or baseball gear. The employees are really helpful. Even if they don’t have the product your looking for, they always have recommendations or they can order it for relatively cheap for yeah. I give them 5 stars for that because they are a great starting point for looking for products.
