She is amazing! I was referred back in April by family for my 6 yr old son who has been sick on & off with random «fainting spells» she has made every effort to get to the bottom of it not like the past drs who just kept giving us the runaround! Came to find out these were seizures. Scary feeling for any parent but she has definately made us feel so much better and comforted in knowing our son is in great hands. Her staff is also wonderful. Would never go anywhere else again! I recommend to anyone. And they are open Saturdays!!! An added bonus to her wonderful service, Thank you Dr Sarmiento & staff. You truly are a blessing to us.

Dr. Sarmiento is a fine pediatrician, but our experience with her staff (front office and billing) has been terrible!
Our 2 girls have been with Dr. Sarmiento’s office for the past year (regular visits every 2 months) and endured way too many appointments with extended visit times consistently averaging around 2 hours (arrive at appointment time, then 30 minutes to wait for an exam room, another 30 minutes before she enters the room, 20 – 30 minutes for exam, then another 30 minutes to outprocess/​schedule next appt)! The last appointment was for a simple TB reading and we waited 2 hours.
In addition, billing has always been an issue with her office — we are constantly charged by her office, even though our insurance covers everything 100% and submits payment promptly. It takes at least 2 – 3 calls back and forth between her office and our insurance, only to be told by her office, «sorry, we have fixed the billing issue.» This has happened at least 4 times in the past year alone. We have since pulled our girls from her office and are seeking a new pediatrician.

Totally satisfied with Dr. Sarmiento. She really thinks about the needs of each patient and gives you the time you need to talk about your child while she is with you. She never rushes out of the room but is very focused and sure about her diagnosis. She catches things that other doctors might miss with her thorough exams. She cares for families and children. Overall not just a great doctor, but a great person. I am happy that she is my children’s pediatrician.

I ve been coming to Dr Sarmiento for a little over 3 years. We intervied a few doctors before choosing Dr Doctor Sarmiento, and we are very happy with our choice. Dr Sarmiento does not pressure you to do anything you dont want to do, of course she will still educate you why she recommends a procedure, but doesn’t pressure you to do so.
She is always availble even on weekends. Over the years we’ve had many emergencys and she has always managed to squeeze us in no matter how short notice or how busy her office is. Her staff is always friendly and welcoming.
So if you’re looking for a Doctor with years of experience, availability, understands and gives you input in your childs healthcare, and a friendly staff, consider Dr Sarmeinto. To us she has been a great Doctor and look forward to her seeing our kids into their teens.

If you value your time, expect excellent customer service, and want a physician that knows what they are talking about and has the patience to explain it terms that are understood, then she is the doctor for you. Our family was so impressed with the visit. Friendly knowledgeable staff and flexible hours. They even work SATURDAYS! amazing! so glad we found this place.
