These guys are the consummate professionals. Great work by Scott and his install team. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ for both value and service.
I got a 4TB 16-​Ch DVR and 6 dome cams installed for slightly less than a local, equally highly-​rated Unilocal company wanted for a 2TB 8-​Ch DVR and only 5 dome/​bullet cams.
Scott came out for the estimate on time, did a walk around with me to size up my needs, and took his time to answer all my questions. He submitted the estimate to me via e-​mail by the end of the day. Once my decision was made to move forward on the system and install, his team was able to come out within just a couple of days and squeeze me in before I left on a family trip out of state.
Tyler and the crew came out early on install day, handled business and were done within a couple of hours. I was shown exactly how to work the new security cam system; Tyler set up the interface with the DVR, defined the zones, set up apps on all my mobile devices to view the cams remotely, and the crew even threw in a hard wire video feed to my living room TV free of charge.
All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with the Security Camera Crew. In fact, I’m having them back soon to add a cam or two to the system. I couldn’t recommend them more; top notch — the whole crew.

I was also considering the Costco route but am ecstatic I did my research and found Scott and his amazing crew. Scott answers all questions, does so honestly, and cares about his customers. His crew is top notch and also goes the extra mile. I am happy I got my home protected the right way at a very fair price by a company that stands behind their products and their work. Scott and his crew are fantastic! I had them install cameras in my business inside and out and they did a wonderful job. Prices are more than reasonable, the technology and equipment is state of the art and the app and the interface are easy to use. Rare is the technology that after being installed exceeds expectations but that is the case with Security Camera Crew. The team is professional and is very considerate as they perform their work while you operate your business. The only critical feedback I have is scheduling the Crew. I believe the Crew is very busy and jobs take longer than anticipated and as a result having them show up at the exact time and day you scheduled them proved to be challenging. Overall the experience was very positive… I say give them an opportunity to earn your business, you won’t be disappointed.

After doing some research on who to use for an upgrade of our security cameras it looked like these guys were the best. Scott came out soon after I called and I received the quote the same day he came out. I received multiple quotes and chose to go with Security Cam Crew. Tyler and Christian were the ones who did the install of all the cameras. They were willing to do whatever I wanted to get the cameras just perfect. I called to get an estimate and Scott came out. He was very knowledagble about his product and installation issues that may arise during a job. They (Tyler and Christian) installed a 16-​camera system (house is over 5,000ft) on a half-​acre. The job came out perfect. No issues at all. I also had them wall mount a 52″ LED TV in the family room/​kitchen area for viewing. Within a second, I can look at this screen in my house or on my iPhone/​iPad and see the entire perimeter of my house. And folks, thats all I wanted! :-) Thanks Gentlemen!!!

I worked with Scott and his brother Tyler on the installation of several security cameras at my home in Lake Forest, CA. Their prices are more than fair, especially given the personalized attention they give to serving their customers. Their team of installers did a great job.
Everyone on their team is knowledgeable and they are all hard workers who will knock themselves out to make you happy. I found that in today’s world, you frequently get people who do not show up when promised or once they have your money ignore you. Not so with the Security Camera Crew! Scott visited our manufacturing facility the same day I called. He was professional and patient as he thoroughly explained our options. The entire process, supervised by Tyler, was flawless. There’s a lot of very long glowing comments here. Let me keep this short and sweet. I chose Security Cam Crew because of their Unilocal reviews. I was not disappointed. The estimator showed up on time giving good suggestions. Scott emailed me a bid as promised later that day. I had a budget in mind and he beat it. The job was scheduled for 2 days later. The boys were a little late but Scott kept me informed via texts (preferred). The installers were great. I have a professionally installed job inside and out. The next day Scott’s brother came over to hook me up to the interweb and train me. Tyler did a great job and I am a happy camper watching my feeds on my office computer, smartphone and tablet. I know I’m a geek because I like to watch myself on my phone pull into my driveway and garage. Highly recommend Security Cam Crew.

Scott and Tyler installed our cameras many months ago. From the beginning, they took great care in placement of the cameras as well as the number of cameras needed for the best coverage. (We didn’t need as many as we thought because they use quality equipment.) We have experienced a couple of glitches with the software, but they came back to fix the issue for us within a couple of days (same day, when it was possible, but they’re usually booked!). They have been 100% customer care oriented from the time we received their bid until months after the installation is completed. I thoroughly appreciate their kind professionalism and expert technical knowledge in the services they provide. Thanks a million, guys!

Before calling these guys I tried buying a set of Hd security cameras from Costco and installing it myself … Big headache! So I called around to get pricing to get security cameras installed. The Security camera crew had the best pricing w the cameras so I returned the ones I got from Costco. These guys are awesome. They installed the cameras in our office with ease and they did an amazing job. Scott and Tyler set up all the cameras to our liking as well as set up and showed us how to use the camera app on our iPad/​iPhone and computer. They were also easy to reach and if you had to leave a message they call back right away. If you are looking for a professional team to install your security cameras. These guys are it!

I had my camera system installed yesterday by Security Camera Crew after a bad experience with another company. The other company wanted to charge me 3x-​4x more for the same equipment which I found cheaper on the internet. And yes! This equipment was new in the box with the manufacturer’s warranty. And no! It was not refurbished. Scott gave me an estimate much below the other company. And he even installed an extra camera for free!
During the installation which took most of the day, Tyler and Christian were very polite, courteous and considerate. To the point that they would pet our yellow Labrador each time they walked by her! She loved the attention!
If you need a home security system, give Scott, Tyler and Christian a chance for your business. You will not regret it!

I just recently had cameras installed at my home. I was very hesitant about doing it. My husband kept pushing the issue. After meeting with a few company’s we decide to go with Security Camera Crew.
Scott was straight to the point, no hidden agenda, no extra for this and that. He was very informative, wanted to make sure what was right for us.

I have attempted 3 calls and left 3 voicemails in the last 2 months. I have not gotten any response from anyone at Security Camera Crew. All I requested was a simple quote or appointment to reset my cameras to view on the cell phones.
I am unable to review the actual security camera services because I have not been given the opportunity to utilize them. Thus far, the preliminary customer service deserves 0 stars.

I would give them 5 stars but the crew they sent messed up the camera positions, thereby placing an extra one in the back which wasn’t needed. They then had to move another camera to compensate and screwed it up. Oh… they also broke my attic cover, and were generally inept at resolving issues. drrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what should I do? duh
HOWEVER, Scott and Tyler were both very intelligent and stood by their service work. They offered to pay for the errors of their serviceman, and came out and repositioned my camera and reset my internet connection for free (I switched internet providers)
Overall excellent customer service, can’t ask for more than that.

The quality of their workmanship, installation, problem solving to get the cameras in the right location and angle and as well as setting up all the computers and phones to access live feed was quick and simple.
My cameras starts recording when motion is detected and the night vision is by far better than I can ever imagine. I have received many quotes but didn’t feel comfortable with the other companies and decided to use them and I am a very happy customer. Don’t even waste your time with other companies. You may end up with low grade cameras and bad service.

With all of the bad things happening in this world, it’s good to have a surveillance system watching your property ²⁴⁄₇. It never sleeps, maintenance is nil and it can be monitored from anywhere at anytime.

Absolutely the Best in this business. We had our system including 5 Cameras & recording system installed yesterday & are very pleased with the quality of the system and its access capability.
Even the HDMI connection to our wide screen TV was done. Tyler is very creative & has good options for Camera Installs.

I just wanted to give an update regarding Security Camera Crew. I had Scott and his crew do my installation a little over a month ago and you need to know this:
They are a FANTASTIC company.
Scott and his brother Tyler have been over at the house twice at my request to adjust our cameras. They didn’t charge extra, they were onetime, and they went above and beyond again. On one of the cameras that I had tried to save money on (I ran the cable myself when I first tried to install my own system and failed miserably) I did not leave enough slack in the cable… they ran an entire new cable line and upgraded the camera so that I would have better picture quality. Again, there was no extra charge. They said that they just wanted to make sure that I was a happy customer.
So if you are even thinking of upgrading your current security camera system or having a new one put in your home or business I would suggest that you give Scott a call. Don’t be fooled by cheeper offers from unscrupulous companies or cheep systems from Costco. Security Camera Crew will give you a fair price for a high quality system and will be there for you to provide advice, training, and adjustments.

I can’t say enough about Tyler, Scott and the crew at Security Camera Crew. These guys are not only amazing technicians but completely understand the importance of customer service. The guys kept me completely in the loop, explained every step of the process and made sure that our satisfaction was paramount. They are true professionals!
If these guys decided to expand their business to any other service or good, they would be the first call I made.

I have been in the market for security cameras and had planned on going to Costco to get my set up when I met Tyler. He was doing a set up for my bosses house as well as our office. I am very happy I decided to go this route instead buying a set up at Costco and having someone else install it. Now when I have a problem with something or want to add cameras (already added another) I know who to call. Tyler went the extra mile and helped me with other wiring challenges I was having at the house.
