Son Light Christian Center

Went to this church about a dozen times. The pastor gave spiritual and insightful sermons, the people were friendly, and the church was down to earth, although a bit shabby looking inside. But God doesn’t care about that. I’m sure he pays much more attention to the hearts and minds of the people inside. I arrived one Sunday with a check in one hand, and a soda in my other hand. I suffer from chronic pain and was up most of the night, and I needed the caffeine to stay awake during church service. But I was told I couldn’t come in their church with a soda. Really? I bring a drink to work, my friends houses, just about any business, but not church. So… my check and I went home and I never returned. That was several years ago. But I wish the best for them, and hope that they can help others get to know God. They’re just not for me. The people who love me offer me something to drink when I enter their homes. They don’t try to take my drink away – thats not loving behavior.

Son Light is an amazing church near the Orange Circle. It had previously been a movie theatre before it became Son Light. It is right on the coroner across from the café.
Pastor Joe Magliato is Phenomenoal, Inspirational, Amazing, and Very Knowleadgable in the Scriptures. There are two services 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Church starts out with a Fanstastic Music
Worship Service before every sermon. During worship, you are able to follow along with the words on the screen, even if you aren’t familiar with them. Also accompanying the words to the music are beautiful serene pictures of nature and some of the most beautiful places God has made on earth.
Sonlight also has a nursery for young children and also a youth group for the teens called L.I.F.E (Life Is For Everyone). They also have Bible study during the week. Their are always alot of activities for everyone.
What I love about Son Light is that Pastor Joe and his sermon ALWAYS is very insightfull and he teaches the Word of God with Bible verses on a big screen, so that you are able to follow along. Pastor Joes teachws what the Bible says thouroughly. Every sermon that Pastor Joe gives feels like God is speaking through Pastor Joe, directly to You. Every time I am at church I leave feeling so Great and Rejuvenated. I always leave feeling like weights have been lifted off of my shoulders. I always leave with knowlegde of Scriptures that I can apply to my everyday life. I Love SonLight, you must see for yourself!
