The Squeaky Floor Doctor specializes in ALL types of Sub-​Floor Leveling, Humps, Dips, Slopes and incessant Squeeks that develop over a long period of time in older two story homes. Our proprietary ProFloor 2100, 2200 and 3000 Systems will eliminate 100% of the noises and 97% of the «bounce» that occurs in large master bedrooms that are generally over a family room or garage below and the upstairs sub-​floors will feel like a concrete floor!

History

Established in 1921.

The Squeaky Floor Doctor traces its roots to its 2 grandfathers that were Master Craftsman in Spain and Mexico and built fine furniture by hand. In 1921, the Alcaraz family started building homes in the greater Los Angeles area. After many years of building homes of superior quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, the family formed Irvine-​Viejo Builders in the late 1970’s to build projects in the booming South Orange County markets.

After several of our customers moved out of one of our custom built houses into a tract built house, they were upset and concerned about the low quality and incessant sub-​floor noises and squeaks and contacted our company seeking a solution. After pioneering various solution attempts over several years we perfected our ProFloorSystems:

Today, the company is managed by Richard Alcaraz, a Third Generation Master Craftsman. He is proud and honored to uphold the values, integrity, character and hard work ethics that were instilled in him as a young child. Because every project he takes on is unique and challenging, Richard personally performs each job himself from start to finish.

Richard is very proud to have been selected recently as the recipient of the top residential framer award in the United States by the SKIL Power Tool Corporation, which is a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. Richard was formally inducted into the SKIL «Hall of Frame» at the SKIL Power Tool Corporation corporate offices which are located in Mt. Prospect, IL.

Through his relentless pursuit of perfection, Richard is proud of his most recent design and engineering of his ProFloor3000System which includes a 200-​year Transferable Warranty.
