Wong Jennifer L MD

Dr. Wong is the most complete general practitioner you could ever ask for. She uses all the available technology but gives you the old-​school, personal, undivided attention that you want from the physician you’re trusting your health with. Her impeccable attention to detail, meticulous computerized notetaking and her follow up is amazing. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Wong for eight years now. In this turbulent era of healthcare it is nearly impossible to find this kind of thorough, concierge-​style primary care physician. We truly believe she has our personal best interest in mind. I’m just leaving my annual check up. It’s always been so impressive I’ve meant to write a review my last couple visits but failed to do so. This time I’m following through. I don’t know if she’s taking new patients but if she is there is none better!

Dr Wong is a very thorough doctor. Don’t come to an appointment without being prepared which means bring all your medications with you so she can see exactly what you’re taking. She is available by email and responds promptly to any questions or concerns you may have. She is our family doctor and treats my elderly mother as well. She is kind to my mother and respectfully listens to her when she is trying to speak as my mom has great difficulty enunciating words due to a stroke 9 years ago. We met Dr Wong at St Joseph’s hospital 9’years ago and have been coming to see her for treatment ever since then. She’s great even at times a little didactic but awesome nonetheless! She cares!

I love Dr. Wong. She doesn’t waste your time and is straight to the point. You are taken care of quickly. I’m so glad I found her. She may be a little too much for some people because she doesn’t sugar cost anything but for some of us, that’s exactly what we need. I also like I can access any of my results online without having to ask the office.

Jennifer Wong is an excellent doctor and I’ve been with her since she was with doctor Bell (?), well over 15 years?
She’s on the 6^th floor of the providence building across from CHOC.
I can’t give her 5 stars because when you make an appointment it’s always late and after you get past the door, you wait some more after the weighing in, only to get 15 – 20 minutes with the good doctor. My 11:00 appointment ran late, and I did not leave her office until 12:45 PM.
She take notes on her computer and she’s up to date with technology, so my life is literally in the palm of her hands.
Parking here sucks at the parking structure from hell. Arrive 15 – 20 minutes before your time, as it takes that long for parking and getting to the office.

I have been going to Dr. Wong for over 15 years. I just love her. She is straight forward, thorough and caring. If she believes you need a specialist, she will do anything in her power to get the proper care you need. She will be my doctor for life.

I’ve never felt more comfortable around any other doctor or felt like I could truly trust a doctor until i met Dr. Wong. She is open, honest, extremely thorough and caring.
From a young age I’ve had several health issues including MVP, ulcers and anxiety and have experienced horror stories of doctor’s misdiagnosing me, over medicating me, and refusing to test for things until I demand them (of which the tests were positive!) — not with Dr. Wong. She tests for anything and everything and asks you every possible question to come up with a well-​though out conclusion.
The most relieving thing — she doesn’t jump to writing a script to get you off the bed like so many insurance bound doctors are. She actually teaches why you’re feeling the way you are, how you can treat it yourself and how you can prevent it from coming back — whether it’s a minor ache or pain, allergies or something you’ve dealt with your entire life — she’s willing to listen and give you options.
Her small dogs also run around the office and I think that makes the office feel much more comfortable. They are friendly, well-​behaved and are also there to make you feel better. It always makes me smile to see them there because medical offices can be scary but if a small dog enjoys being there, it shouldn’t be that bad, right?

Dr. Wong is the best. Listens to your concerns, doesn’t rush and is very thorough.

Dr. Wong is a wonderful, caring, thorough doctor. She will not make you feel stupid, or dismiss your questions or concerns.
I have seen lots of doctors, specialists, and surgeons. Dr. Wong is the best of all, period. The office staff is very kind and friendly, and the place is always clean and welcoming.
If she has an opening for new patients, don’t hesitate. She is a treasure. You can trust her with your life.
