I have been going here for several years. While the staff is great, it is Lake Shore’s policies that are detrimental to the well being of their patients. It is Lake Shore’s policy to refuse to confirm, in writing, a patient’s disability to Social Security. Also, they refuse to release records, without a subpoena, to support the patient’s application to support their disability application.
This does NOT reflect on the staff, but on the administation at Lake Shore. The staff’s hands are tied by these policies, and no one, staff or patient, has any recourse.
If you are having serious health issues, do not rely on Lake Shore to assist you.
