Computer Doctor

So right after Christmas my son broke the LCD screen on his new Wii U. Argh! I couldn’t find anyone to fix it and I wasn’t going to dare and attempt it myself. I messaged Kevin and asked if he knew anything about it and he said no but looked it up and is confident he could fix it. Which they did and did quickly. I will use them again when I have any type of computer issue.

I dropped my laptop while it was on, and apparently damaged the hardware. Kevin was able to pick up my computer from my house and recover my data and photos and have it back in two days. He was very professional and I am very happy with the work he did!

It’s too bad I am limited to 5 stars… Kevin deserves a 12+! Prompt, efficient and r e a s o n a b l e! After looking at my son’s computer at 6pm in our home in No. Santa Maria (we thought we had mother board issues) he said he thought it was graphic card related… said he had a used one at the shop… in Orcutt… said we would see him soon. At 8pm, he called and asked if it was too late…15 minutes later, my son was up and running.
There is A B S O L U T E L Y no reason to even consider having your computer looked at by anyone else. This is down right good old fashion customer service. There are still honest people in this world… I know… I just found one.

I’m the IT guy for our family. Unfortunately, I was out of state when the custom desktop I built for my computer-​dependent dad decided to corrupt it’s windows install. Windows would hang and never boot to a desktop. Multiple attempts to recover windows failed, and trying to get my dad to create a windows install USB drive were beyond his willingness to comprehend. I also couldn’t have him buy a disc because they are not sold by MS anymore and sending him a USB drive would be too much downtime. So basically, I needed someone to do a fresh install of windows, install graphics drivers, configure the 3-​monitor setup and that was it. I looked around SLO and SB county for someone near Pismo Beach, but nearly all the computer repair businesses that seemed reputable were closed on the weekend, except for Computer Doctor.
When I called Kevin and explained the situation he understood, gave me a quote, and was available in about ~2hours from when I called on a Saturday. He arrived at my dad’s house, texted me that he arrived, performed the work, and then texted me when he finished and that everything went smoothly. Literally couldn’t have been a better experience.
I will be referring anyone in my situation to him and surely contacting him again in the future when windows decides to spectacularly fail again.

Kyle was sent out by computer doctor. I asked for service and they provided at the very next day. Kyle was very efficient and computer doctor was very reliable. Additionally they did not overcharge me for the service. I’m very pleased

After a power outage, our home computer just simply did not want work as it used to. My husband called the Computer Doctor after looking at the positive Unilocal reviews. They actually told us someone could come right out, but we were actually heading out the door to run some errands. So we arranged for someone to come out the next morning.
They were on time and fixed our computer in no time. I wish my husband would have gotten the guys name, but he did not. My husband said he answered all his questions and was very courteous and professional. Price was very reasonable too.
We know this is now the «go-​to» people if we ever have issues with our computer again.

We have two PCs and a MAC all misbehaving and giving us fits. We called Kevin who came to our home on a Saturday afternoon. He worked on the computers for 90 minutes, cleaning out junk and viruses etc. Kevin explained what he was doing in laymen’s terms making sure we were comfortable with what changes were made before he made any more.
We are so fortunate to have found Kevin — he is the best computer repairman ever and will be our only call in future. Would highly highly recommend him.

So my computer flashed the dreaded blue screen – one text to Kevin, and within 5 minutes he had texted me back – and said he could be by in a few to check it out.
I’m back up and running before the end of the business day! Talk about service – if there is something wrong with your computer, or you are in a market for a new one, these guys are who to call!

Kevin is great! Fair prices and just a great guy to deal with. I had a problem with my computer 2 days before Christmas, and he got it fixed the next day. I was so grateful. I feel like Kevin and his family really went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed before the holiday madness kicked in. He even called me the next day to address an issue my computer had previously just to make sure he wasn’t the one who caused it!

What can I say? Does GREAT, GREAT and GREAT cover it? I’m not sure I can find enough adjectives to describe Kevin ~ except to say that he is the best and I feel beyond lucky to have found him. I left my computer off with his very friendly wife in the late afternoon. That night, Kevin called me and said he had fixed the problem but wanted to deliver the computer back to me and check the wireless environment in our home and my router. Not only did he do all that, he fixed up two of my other laptops while he was here. People just can’t GET that kind of personalized service anymore. And, while I’m talking about personalized, I can’t fail to mention Kevin’s very friendly and personable personality. He was a delight and, while I hope I don’t need his services often, I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him again. Neither should you. If you need a knowledgeable, friendly and proficient computer repairman, do yourself a favor and call Kevin at the Computer Doctor. Oh, and one last thing. His prices. Seriously, I was impressed. There is no way there is a better computer repair person than Kevin at Computer Doctor (and I probably have tried them all). I have hired him for the last four years. Yes, he knows his stuff, but even better — he is personable, doesn’t talk down to you and will move mountains to help in a crisis. My computer had a scary screen one morning right before I left for a business trip. I was in total panic, I couldn’t do anything. I called Kevin, he had a meeting in an hour but rushed over and took my tower. He dropboxed the power points I needed, repaired the problem and brought it back to my house. He is ethical, smart and genuinely a nice person. If you are not 100% satisfied I will give you a money back guarantee. :) He is that good!!!

A definite 5 star! After having read reviews about this business, I decided this would be the place for me to take my computer. Kevin, the Computer Doctor went above and beyond, providing me with excellent service. He quoted me one price originally, however when the final bill came, it was about $ 70 cheaper. Very nice person… My computer works wonderfully now. Take your computer to Kevin, the Computer Doctor! You will be pleased with the service he provides!
