We can also provide aftercare counseling and assistance, including transport to our pet crematory for private or communal pet cremation service if desired. We personally handle each pet with the same loving and meticulous care for which we are well-known during the entire end of life process, so each family can be assured that their pet’s cremated remains are their own.

Because we recognize the need for our service may arise at any time, we are committed to being available, dependable, and responsive when we are needed most. Same day, short-notice and emergency requests typically can be accommodated. Our phone is answered personally day and night, and in the unusual event that a callback is required, all calls are returned very promptly.

History

Established in 2009.

Dr. Gibson began Compassionate Care because she recognized the great need for a full-time 247 home pet euthanasia service. Our mission is to guide and support families while providing peaceful pet euthanasia in the comfort and privacy of the home environment. Because we recognize the need for our service may arise at any time, we are committed to being available, dependable and responsive when we are needed most.

Because we have provided 247 home pet euthanasia in the Portland and Vancouver areas since early 2009, we are the longest established, most recommended veterinary service of its kind. Having helped thousands of families over the years, we have the most experience for a service that requires extraordinary empathy, intuition and skill.
