History

Established in 2008.

After ⁹⁄₁₁ and business slowed in the shop, so we decided to put in a new 1 acre garden. Irrigation was installed, truckloads of topsoil and lots of plants were placed in the young garden. An underground «mole» fence was installed to keep out the moles living next door in the fields. Well, the underground fence had a half life of 6 months before” they” came in force. Vern, my never give up sweetheart, tried everything (except poisens) but settled on my grandfathers scissor type traps and was 60% successful at getting his prey but alas, his lawn and my flower beds were quickly returning to the moles. After 6 months of setting the «grandpa traps» Vern came in one wet, cold spring evening and exclaimed, «I’m NOT going to do this anymore. I’m making a way BIGGER mess than the moles are!» That day was a revelation for us: IT WAS TRUE — HE WAS making a bigger mess than the moles. So, being the inventor he is, began to design the MOLECAT to protect the garden and now available for yours.

Vern has operated as a independent machine shop owner since 1979. Born with a lathe in his crib, he has helped diverse businesses with various projects and has a passion for his work. Being a problem solver has made him the inventor-​engineer of the innovative MOLECAT percussive blast pest extermination tool. Vern is looking ahead to develop other new, innovative products for public use and benefit.
