Now that my wedding date has come and gone, I can confirm that Marc Brooks from Thrive Entertainment specialists did in fact abandon our wedding. Luckily we were able to find another DJ to replace him in time but he did scam us and steal $ 1600 from us.
I appear to be yet ANOTHER bride who has been scammed by Marc Brooks. After paying him in full in September (for my December wedding) he told me that we would talk and plan out music about a month prior to avoid any changes close to our special day. I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to get in touch with him to no avail. I’ve left messages, emails and now the website is down. 1 month before my wedding and I’m panicking trying to find someone to take his place. This guy is a scam artist.

This business front is a scam. They took my money and never provided any service. I signed a contract with them for MY WEDDING and they didn’t show up, along with no call or explanation. I have been crying for the last 6 hours at how bad my wedding turned out. My family went out and bought a sound system to have some music…
This is a flat out scam. Steer clear of any DJ named Marc Brooks, who claims to run this business, but may very well be a fake name.
