After a rocky recession, I believed that we’d have to wait many years before living in our own home again. I called so many loan reps asking about ‘bounce-​back’ loans that I believed we would qualify for. Most of them didn’t know about that type of loan. Once they heard my situation — the call was short and to the point. They weren’t interested in working with me — because this wasn’t necessarily going to be a slam dunk easy loan. It would be FHA, there would be more paperwork involved and frankly I don’t think most of them were interested in working that hard. When I finally spoke to Bill — what a difference!
