Rob Schroeder has been taking amazing commercial photographs for over 15 years, but it wasn’t until his friends and family encouraged him to pursue portraiture that Rob decided to open his doors as a local business. Since then, Rob has been making memories for families, couples, and pet lovers alike. He is skilled at capturing moments most people miss and is especially good with kids and animals. Rob Schroeder developed his passion for photography while studying at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Rob decided to forgo writing to concentrate on a visual career instead. In 1996 he found training at Hedrich Blessing Photographers in Chicago, Illinois. An architectural photography firm, Hedrich Blessing proved to be a great learning ground, giving Rob an education in not only in the technical aspects of photography, but also the business of photography as well. In 2002 Rob became the staff photographer for eLUXURY in San Francisco. Part of the LVMH family, eLUXURY was one of the first online retailers of luxury goods and one of the most prestigious. Rob is currently a freelance commercial photographer living in Emeryville, CA. When not shooting he can be found riding his motorcycle in the Sierra Nevada mountains. He is also a foster parent for animals awaiting adoption at the San Francisco SPCA.
