Advanced Urgent Care

I received prompt and professional care here for a broken bone in my foot. I was impressed with all aspects of the experience. Very nice people. I’d recommend them to anyone.

I have been here twice for urgent care medical issues. The first time was for a horrible migraine. I was seen right away and hooked up to an IV to hydrate and there was other medication in it as well. Dr. Alzein knew what he was doing and I felt a lot better when I left.
The second visit was because I potentially broke a bone in my foot, which was swollen and bruised. This time I saw Dr. Erakat. They once again took me very quickly and it was determined I needed an x-​ray. This is where it got frustrating. I sat 40 minutes waiting for someone to get me for the x-​ray, while the person who drove and was in the waiting room was told by the front desk how really slow it was that day. My visit lasted about 2 ½ hours. I had to leave my room and look for someone to find out what was going on to finally have the test done. It was determined that I had soft tissue damage and there was nothing to be done except for ice and elevation. I started crying out of frustration from the time I was there and that there was nothing he could do. He automatically went to the assumption that I must be looking for pain meds and also justified my interminable wait time by comparing it to an hospital ER wait time. Frankly, I think he forgot to tell someone I needed an x-​ray but that is just a guess. You just can’t choose which doctor you are going to get when you walk in to a medical facility.
I believe that the doctors here are all knowledgeable and competent and I would go back again even if this last visit wasn’t the best in helping my situation in any way. The lower rating is due to Dr. Arakat’s attitude and assumptions once I became visibly upset because he was not going to do anything, even give me surgical shoe so I wouldn’t bend or flex the damaged area so much since I work and walk downtown.
UPDATE: I was contacted by the office manager the next day and he apologized for everything that happened and ensured me that the owner, Dr. Alzein, would be speaking to the attending physician about all the different issues I experienced. I was told that what happened was not acceptable and not the level of service and medical care the business wanted to portray. I would go back here but I would call first to see which doctor was working with urgent care patients at that time.

I had a head injury at work, so my coworker dropped me off here. The wait in the lobby was about an hour; no big deal. I understood there were people ahead of me. I finally got to a room, and I had to explain over and over again that I was feeling dizzy to the medical assistant. She was clearly incompetent. She did not understand me what so ever, even after the 5^th time I explained what happened to me. She would even interrupt me and make assumptions on what happened. I kept explaining how dizzy and light headed I was, trying to make it clear that this seems pretty serious for a bump to the head. The medical assistant said the doctor will see me shortly, but I literally waited AN HOUR AND A HALF, so altogether, I waited two and a half hours. I even left the door open to my room, hoping an employee would see me. A few people walked by, clearly saw me just waiting, and didn’t say anything. There were even employees just standing around and engaged in small talk. My friend and I got so impatient that we got up and left. No one noticed I left until I went to a different primary care facility. One of the doctors called me and asked me to call back. Let’s just say I definitely won’t, especially when the different facility had the same amount of people waiting before me, and I was able to talk to an actual doctor who understood me and leave the facility within less than half the time I waited at AUC. Going to AUC was the biggest waste of time.

Dr. Alzein and his staff are amazing, highly recommend them for so many of your needs. From primary care to emergency visits this is the place to go. Avoid the expensive, long wait at the hospital and see Advanced Urgent Care! With or without insurance their first concern is helping people and that’s hard to find. My parents have been going to Dr Alzein for many years and I’m so greatful my mom found him. Many friends and family go here and it’s the first place I recommend to anyone seeking medical care.

Very clean. Short wait. Very friendly and competent staff.
I’ve brought two of my 6 children here and we’ve had 2 great experiences. We’ll definitely be back.

What can I say about Advanced Urgent Care… well, a year ago, I was quite sick with a virus. I was a hard head about seeing my doctor and thought it just needed to take its course. Several months later, I could feel my heart racing and beating hard, my voice was all but gone from coughing. My son wanted to call an ambulance, but we opted to drive to PCH. We drove near AUC and I told my son to pull in. They took me immediately and joined me up to the EKG. Fortunately, no heart attack, but they got to the root cause of my issue. Since then, they have been handling my asthma and I’ve seen so much improvement.
More importantly, the level of care that everyone has shown me has been exemplary. I cannot recommend AUC enough to my friends and family. The facility is beautiful and calming. not sterile and intimidating. You will have made the right choice when choosing Advanced Urgent Care for your important health needs.

i got a physical exam by doctor mansour on tuesdays .i ask them when i can get my results .they said next day .so i called the next day asking for my blood test results .they said that the doctor havent had time to review them .this was in the morning 10:30am so the lady on the phone said that they will call me back, i waited and waited no calls .so i called them back they said the doctor has not seen they yet .i said ok. when will he have time to look at them .they said after he finish with his patiens ok .so i call an hour later .the people at the office told me that doctor mansour is not in the office today .he wiil be in tomorrow .they couldnt tell me that he not in and have me call the next day. so i call the next day trying to get my results agian. they are givivng me the same bull .the doctor is busy, when he has time he will look at them. STAY AWAy. dont go to this place they just want you money they dont care about you… STAY AWAY… GO TO A REAL DOCTOR THAT CARES ABOUT PATIENTS …

Came here with my daughter because of a really bad sinus infection and Dr. Alzein and staff was wonderful. They are very very patient oriented and the place itself is big and beautiful. .And what is so nice they take you immediately know 5 hr wait sitting in the emergency waiting room. They are open from 8:00 am until midnight 7 days a week… Highly recommend this place if you need it…

So, I was experiencing severe and excruciating back pain. The pain was so intense that it was hard to move, talk, breathe and walk. Even though it was an emergency, I could not bare the thought of sitting in an emergency room. I Googled a 24hr facility and 24hr Advanced Urgent Care popped up. Before finally going there (30 min away), I read the reviews and realized Advance would be the place to go. OMG, from entry I knew it was not going to be an extended wait. The decorum was relaxing and inviting. The staff is wonderfully cordial and attentive. Dr. Alzein, the other physicians and assistants were totally concerned about me, my pain and overall well being. The night I went, I arrived at 9:30 pm. I received a treatment for the severe pain, filled my prescription and was home by 12:30. They have everything there on site and I LOVE it there so much that I filled out the paperwork to change my Doctor and transfer my records from the other facility I went to for 15yrs. They live up to the name Advanced and Urgent Care. Please do NOT hesitate to go there. I promise you will not be disappointed. FYI, due to construction, it’s easy to locate their facility across the «street» behind Macy’s in Orland Park Mall. Again, you will be satisfied!!!

This is a definite mixed review.
I went in on a Sunday morning. The check in process was kind of odd. The receptionist barely spoke to me, and it was so quiet in there I felt somewhat uncomfortable. I did consider leaving for a moment.
However, I decided to stay and the wait time was fairly short.
The medical assistant and Dr were friendly, very courteous and thorough. I was impressed with this part. During my 1.5 hr visit for IV fluids, they each checked on me numerous times. This was all the «good part.»
It became odd again when I was told I had to return in a few days for my test results. That is something a phone call is usually sufficient for. But I was in no shape to care so I didn’t question it.
I called three days later to find out if my results were in as I didn’t want to waste a trip if they were not in. The receptionist said there was no way for her to find this information (um, open my chart?) and she would have to call me back. An hour and a half later, I went in as I hadn’t received a call.
I waited for 45 minutes!!! repeatedly saying I just wanted my test results. During that time medical assistant tried to start an exam on me, getting my vitals. I repeated I was just there for test results. Finally I found another assistant, and when I told her what I wanted, she got them for me within 10 seconds!!! Right in front of me!
Great huh? Except I took a look at them, and results were STILL PENDING!!! Are you kidding me?!?
They have got to get a better system of relaying test results.
Then, I got the bill… Ok whatever. I paid it. Like I always do. Then I got notice from my insurance company that they paid it. I called. They said they had no record of my insurance company paying it (which was done over 30 days prior to this) and to check back «later.» Then five days later, I got a check in the mail. Interesting. I wonder if I would have ever seen that money had I not called. Doubtful.
I will not be back.

Dr Alzein is very considerate, caring and efficient. I worried about another hours long «emergency room» experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. I hope I don’t have the need to return for another unexpected visit, but won’t hesitate if the need arises.

Amazing place! I been there twice now and i love this place! I wish I can make this place my primary doctor! Dr Alzine is amazing takes his time cares listen! I tell all my friends about advanced urgent care! If are sick go there! A lot cheaper then the hospital! Trust me

I went here for the 1^st time with pelvic pain. I waited for about 25 minutes on a Friday night about 5:00 pm. Lots of paperwork to fill out. The office was clean& beautifully decorated. I was treated in a respectful manner. I was sent to Palos hospital for a cat scan & got the results 30 minutes later. I would go back!

Whenever I am ill, I always return to Advanced Urgent Care. I am treated with such humanity and warmth from the doctors and staff.

I don’t recommend going here. You can barely understand anyone who works there because they clearly speak another language. I wasn’t even able to sign my name to sign in because the guy at the front asked me why I was there and the moment I informed him I used to have seizures YEARS ago he told me I need to go to an emergency room when yes I am in pain but it is not an emergency. When the doctor came in they took my blood pressure not even my temperature when I am complaining of my head hurting? And she too only would talk about seizures I had years ago saying I need to go to an emergency room and saying she couldn’t give me any better pain medication than the prescription one I already had. Never was I wanting anymore pain medication I simply wanted a diagnosis and an explanation of why my head has hurt for so long and no medication I have taken has helped and it would’ve been nice to know if I was running fever. I left and did not continue the examination, especially after the doctor proceeded to tell me I should not have been taking the pain medication I was taking since I used to have seizures saying it could cause one? Anything can cause a seizure lady and I haven’t had them in years. So ridiculous that’s all she focused on, I didn’t even get a chance in there the moment they found out I used to have seizures they made up their mind that I need to go spend hundreds of dollars at an emergency room getting cat scanned etc instead of taking my temperature or even my blood to see if everything was normal. I’ll never go here again

Great place and way better than waiting in the er. I love this place and so glad it only 2 minutes from my house. Great service from beginning to end.

It was Mothers Day afternoon when I began to develop the symptoms of a urinary tract infection. I had a period 4 years ago when I suffered from these constantly but they had gone away for the most part. They have a habit of cropping up when I am out of town or on the weekend. My Emergency Room deductible is $ 150 so I thought I would try this place.
I was very pleased with the staff. All friendly and very sympathic. They guided me to the area 24 hour Walgreens to fill my meds. I appreciated the quick care and would not hesitate to return to this facility.

I visited advanced urgent care facility on February 23. I had severe back pain. The treatment I received was totally professional and to me more importantly very compassionate. Dr Elbaridi showed he was genuinely concerned with my well being. I was satisfied with all aspects of the care that I received from Dr Elbaridi. A great first experience and I would recommend highly.
