Absolutely impeccable service. As a person who also works in the service industry, I know how important it is to provide the best customer experience. Emily at the front desk was extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about my BMW X5 and the best part is I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I will definitely be coming back.

There is no better BMW mechanic that I have dealt with than Ryan. He is thorough and knows everything about my 645 BMW and has advised me succinctly about anything that required or will need maintenance or repair. I drive more than an hour to BAW and it is totally worth it. Any BMW owner coming off warranty owes it to his or herself to try this shop. BAW pricing is reasonable and it is always a pleasant experience dealing with Emily scheduling work and getting my questions answered in a timely manner.

Ryan is arrogant and if you don’t have a simple repair he won’t go the extra mile. I’m never going back to his shop. There are way too many good BMW independent shops in Chicagoland.

I moved up to Northbrook, IL. I tried to find someone to work on my BMW up here. I’ve been to two dealerships and a private mechanic who specializes in BMWs. Maybe Ryan, and his wife, raised my expectations so hi that nobody else can match them. I had bad run in after another. I will drive over an hour each way to just to have this family work on my car. They are both polite, friendly, and I have NEVER gotten my car back without it fixed. I have never had to call him back to tell him that I am still having issues. I have always felt that his prices were fair. I felt that he treated me professionally and made me feel confident in his abilities. IF you have a BMW, take it to these guys. Far cheaper than the dealership and he knows far more than any other mechanic. For the record, they are 7 – 0. I have three BMWs. Seven major repairs and no complaints. Thank you to a great husband and wife team!!!

I would like to compliment Bavarian Auto Werke for their excellent service and assistance during the repair of my 2014 BMW X1. I was very pleased with their customer service, knowledge and assurance. I would recommend them to any customers out there. They were always on the ball and able to explain the repairs and any future maintenance I would need. They go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied before you leave the shop. It was truly a positive experience!

Had a great experience with BAW. High quality work. Honest assessment. Reasonable price. And, with the customer care provided by Emily, it was the automotive repair experience one looks for but seldom finds.
Particularly when it comes to anything related to BMW or Mini, Ryan is a wizard. He knows all there is to know about them. He is patient, he listens and (did I mention this before?) is honest.
It’s an hour drive to BAW from our house. And, it’s no problem. Ryan and Emily, thank you both!

What a pleasant experience. Talked about my car’s issues over the phone, dropped it off after-​hours and left the key in the locked mailbox, got a call the next day about what it would take to fix it, and the following day it was done. Paid over the phone, picked the car up after hours, signed some paperwork and put it back in the locked mailbox. Seriously does not get any easier. Such friendly and honest people. Quality work. This type of experience is why I will drive the 30+ miles out to Orland from downtown to get my car fixed. You guys are great!

Ryan and Emily are awesome! Ryan always takes the time to explain the work that needs to be done, and they don’t over charge. They are honest and fair. I constantly tell fellow MINI owners to take there car to BAW.
