I bought a Used truck there and when I found an air bag light on a couple of features that didn’t work I called the management there and they told me. They couldn’t help me! Just picked up an F-​250 after searching for weeks. This is our third truck and these work trucks tend to all be priced identically so service is a big deal to us. Everyone from the Sales manager, the GM, finance manager, even the cashier, all were very helpful and incredibly patient with all our questions.
To be honest, we had just left a different Ford dealer who priced out a similar truck within a couple hundred dollars. But the sales manager at that other dealer was unapologetically sexist (I’m female so obviously know nothing about cars and am not worth his time) and just plain rude. We couldn’t get out of here fast enough and are so happy we landed at Rizza. The truck is perfect and we will definitely be back for our next car.

I went to this dealer to remedy a terrible experience from another dealer and was glad I did. They really do try their best to get the customer what they want without any of the dealer «mind games». I ended up buying a 2016 MKC and had a very good experience. Thank you Isaias, Ken and Joe for all your assistance.
The fact that they read and response to this posts shows that they care. Everyone will have a different experience but the fact that they are willing to listen and act shows good character.

Have bought several cars from Joe Rizza Ford in Orland since 1998. All new, except one used. They inspect your trade in closely and take into consideration the fact if your trade in is special and have been more fair on pricing altogether than any other dealer. I even tried Currie Ford in Frankfort at someone’s suggestion, but the service and sales dept. expereince was not as good. We will always make this our home to make an auto purchase simply for their no nonsense approach to buying a vehicle. Rizza Ford has the worse customer service! I bought a brand new card that needed warranty work done, I was told in order to get a rental car I had to be there by 5 pm or I was out of luck! Sorry I have a job and can’t possibly get there by that time. They had my car for three days and fixed nothing so had to bring it back another day when the right parts came in. When they called this time to set up appointment, I said I was off on Friday could we do it then since I could never make it by 5 for a rental. I was told No I’m sorry I have too many guys off on Friday to cover that job! WOW! I have never met a dealer that was so NOT customer service orientated. I have bought a lot of cars from Rizza, but I’m done! They don’t even try to work with you or accommodate the customer.

We prefer buying gently used, used cars and we were looking for a Toyota Sienna to accommodate our growing family. We’re in Wisconsin but were willing to go to Illinois for the right car. We thought we found that car at Joe Rizza’s.
The first question I always ask is «was this car a smoker’s car?» because, being non-​smokers, we’re really sensitive to that smell. We asked the guys at Joe Rizza FOUR times if this van had been owned by a smoker and each time we were told no. So we made the 3+ hour drive down there (3+ hours because of the nightmare traffic in Illinois) with our 3 month old and our toddler. After nearly losing our sanity because of the traffic, we finally got there and happened to pull up right as they were pulling up the Sienna we wanted. As soon as my husband opened the door we knew it was a smoker’s car. Oh and the HOLE in the driver’s seat that was clearly from a cigarette clued us in as well. Their response? «Wow, we couldn’t smell anything.» My husband’s shirt smelled like cigarettes after sitting in it for about 10 seconds.
Thanks guys. Let me just strap my kids back in their car seats for our 2 hour ride home. Thanks. Can I erase the one star?
Update: The GM for Joe Rizza sent us a gas card and a very nice apology for what we went through. We appreciate that very much.

I have a question for those Unilocalers who have reviewed this place and received a note from the Nora Rizza, did any thing get resolved???
In my case, I commented on the warranty work done to my Ford and when I got it back it had additional problems. I have conversed with Nora over several emails, with the promise the service manager would call me, but no phone calls took place.
Foolishly I purchased a Kia from Rizza about a year ago. Made an appointment for the scheduled oil change on the car. A day or two before the scheduled appointment I get a phone call to call the service department, which I do. As a matter of fact I called several times to see what was so dire that I had to call them back, also left messages. I never got a phone call back, finally come to find out that they sold off the Kia line to some other dealership down the street. You could not tell me that on the original phone to book the appointment or when they left the message? Then these goofs send me a post card a week later to remind that my Kia was due for service.
I would avoid this place at any cost.

Please view the picture I’m attaching this dealer charged me $ 1,540 to repair this minor issue. I am infuriated but I have no choice because I was at fault and I am responsible for the repair.
They took advantage of a situation and gouged me.

Body Shop is meticulous! My vehicle was returned on time and looking better than the day I drove it off the lot. (Yes, they detailed it.). Bob, manager, is knowledgeable, efficient, professional and gifted with great people skills. The need for body work was not a good thing, but my experience with Bob and his crew was easy, breezy! Don’t waste your time wondering where you should take your vehicle I need f body work. Call Bob at Joe Rizza!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Granted, this review is about two months old. I have to publicize this one. My brother and I were searching for the perfect car for his very first purchase. We walked into the sales room at this dealership & at first no one offered to help us. Then we asked for a salesman to test drive one of the sedans. The salesman who reluctantly stepped forward was a middle eastern or Hispanic man. I only say that because he mumbled his name and later refused to tell us his name altogether (will expand). So when he took us on the test drive, he sat in the back seat while I sat shotgun as my brother drove. He didn’t really speak unless we asked a question. I thought this was extremely rude– this was his opportunity to SELL us the car and he went mute and seemed disinterested or even bothered. So we returned to the parking lot where he asked us to come in so my brother could give him his info; when we said no we would like his name and card so we can reach out if interested, he insisted and through a fit when we said no really just give us your info and we’ll come back. He threw his hands into the air and said «thanks for wasting my time!» He refused to give us his name again (now we wanted use it only to complain) & made a gesture with his arm as if to shew us away. I knew it was getting out of line so I returned to the car but my brother went inside to speak with the manager. The manager didn’t really fix matters and we left because of the horrible customer service. Happy ending though. My brother proceeded down the street to Honda and purchased his very first car the very same day! :):):)

First time at this ford dealership. I was here ¹⁄₁₅ around noon, I walked around and looked and sat in the front/​back seats of three different vehicles until I had to go up to the front counter and ask for help. A very nice man that was working with another customer, called over someone to help me. Thank you very much for that. Back to when I first got there, when I was looking at the three vehicles I saw at least three men not helping anyone, just standing around. What, does someone have to be with a husband for you to get help? I’ll be back here to look at cars again but I’m hoping for a different experience.

Are you kidding me? All these 5 star reviews??? What a joke! Must be the cronyism… Haven’t bought anything from any dealership in 17 years and the experiences with this «joint» reminded me why!
As a quick summary, walking in to Rizza Ford is a comparable feeling to being the last human on earth walking into a den of vampires… albeit not with the fear of having all your blood sucked from you and your family, but with the fear that every dollar in your possession is going to be tricked out of you with smoke and mirrors.
In addition to embodying all the old-​school mafia and cronyism feel, I cannot believe a dealership can still function with this antiquated «used-​car salesman» business model in the 21^st century.
In addition to the «finance manager» making the numbers as non-​transparent as possible when signing the final document when purchasing a used vehicle (after already agreeing to the price with the salesman), the management, and the service department all continue to function with the same smoke and mirrors/​minimal transparency model.
ESPECIALLY when it comes to the USELESS «extended warranties» they SO QUICKLY try to pawn off on you right before closing (ensuring you DO NOT understand what you are buying), and which cover NONE of the basic «maintenance» items you would expect a «bumper-​to-​bumper» warranty to cover, not to mention the unexpected deductibles… (READ EVERY LINE OF THE WARRANTY’S MULTIPLE PAGES BEFORE BUYING, PREFERABLY WITH YOUR LAWYER) Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me…
All of which so many other car companies DO cover with NO deductables and while not making you feel GUILTY for bothering them by trying to get service under that CRAP warranty. Also, most other leading car companies are greatful for the opportunities to learn of the weaknesses in their products so they can improve on them in the future.
Bottom line: Joe Rizza Ford Lincoln Porsche just confirms that gut feeling you have to stay away from dealerships and continue buying from private owners and having maintenance performed with your favorite mechanic shop.
Just a humble opinion from an everyday guy… maybe your experience will be better with Rizza if you are a local business buddy of Mr Rizza…

I was here for a two-​fer about a month ago … I was getting my truck repaired and also purchasing a used vehicle. Bobby in the body shop is AWESOME, he knows his stuff and gets the job done, he didn’t miss a detail on my car after replacing a scratched up bumper and tail lights. I also requested having new tires put on later on and he came through having it all completed upon delivery. He had my truck looking like new when I picked it up. Scott precin helped find a used car and helped find one in our budget as well as cleaning the car up and making it look even better than it already did. It’s a great car!!! All around happy with my day at Rizza Ford Kia in Orland Park. Thanks boys, I left there smiling and happy for sure!!!

My family has done business with Joe Rizza Ford for many many years. I have purchased 2 cars there myself, and it’s always been a pleasant experience. Everyone that works there is extremely helpful, nice, and personable. I custom ordered my 2015 mustang through them, and it came in perfect with everything I ordered. I am so thrilled with my new car and I am obviously happy enough to give this business 5 stars. I’ve mainly dealt with Patty Kralik and Gary Precin, and they are so so wonderful. I highly recommend this dealership. I have heard and experienced way too many positive stories to believe anything negative on these reviews. Thanks for everything Rizza Ford!

Run away for this place. The Hispanic salesman was so pushy is should have ran immediately. The salesman switch the selling price from $ 15,000 ad price to $ 17,000. I would not have known this had I not looked through the papers on his desk. He also cut our agreed trade in allowance more than half when I called him on the price difference. He also moved my items from my trade-​in to the new car without my permission.
I was interested in a Kia Forte Koup with low miles mileage. They had one the lot. I decided to let the salesman run the numbers and quote me a price for my trade– in. A 2004 Honda Civic. The sales man made me an offer for my trade in. However he cut it more than half when we haggled over the ad price for the Kia. We debated again over the trade in and I feel I have been taken advantage of. I will never do business with Rizza dealerships. I should have ran again however the salesman insisted he had already moved my items from my Honda and the Kia was ready for me to go.
To add insult to injury this vehicle has been back to the shop three times. The service department is small, cold, with no internet access and the service man i was assigned to did not keep me notified of the progress during my 3 – 4 hour wait on the first two visits. I am currently looking for their competitor to use for service and warrantee work. If you drive a Porshe or Hummer or any other high ticketed vehicle, you are guaranteed excellent service.

I’ve bought my past 3 cars from here, all from Adam. Each car, which were all used, have been mechanically perfect and I’ve yet to have an issue. I’ve never felt pressured and have been set up with an awesome deal and worked with me to get payments I was comfortable with each time!

Purchased a 2014 Ford F150, my first Ford Truck. Had an awesome experience. Got a good deal and didn’t have to compromise on anything. I highly recommend doing business with them.

I purchased a new 2014 Ford Focus Titanium from this dealership after conducting a bid competition between a handful of other dealers. They ended up giving me the best OTD price which was thousands less than most of the others.
I never stepped into the dealership until the bidding was complete and they agreed to the price. When I did get to the lot, they were honest and upfront about everything. They honored the price we agreed to and didn’t try to coax more from me.
The car that we had initially agreed upon had been dealer traded by the time I finally made it out, which made me uneasy at first. However, they went above and beyond to make sure they found me the right Focus at the same price. It ended up being an even sweeter deal because it ended up having a few extra exterior features included.
I dealt with Isaias Remijio & Miles Misek during the transaction, both whom I highly recommend. They made my first time car buying experience a great one.
