History

Established in 2007.

CJ services was started in 2007 after the housing bubble burst. Jim Leipart, a certified plumber and HVAC technician went on his own to start his own business after 10 years in the trade.

Since it’s first day, C&J services has grown from just a 1 man plumbing company to a multi division company servicing homes and businesses throughout the South, southwest and western suburbs.

C&J services has multiple service trucks on call 24 hours a day equipped to handle any heating, air conditioning or plumbing issues.

Business Owner

Jim Leipart, a 18 year veteran in the trades grew up in the Oak lawn area. A sports enthusiastic, Jim is a huge Blackhawks fan and frequents games often. Father of 3 and married of 7 years, Jim is nothing less than a hard working family man.

Jim is a hands on owner, overseeing all area of the business he grew and loves, C&J services.

Our furnace went out when it was –6 degrees. We started to panic and started calling companies in the area. Jim answered right away, after asking what his prices were we agreed that he would drive out to Orland from Joliet. He was friendly, outgoing and very patient. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and made sure we understood why he was doing what he was doing. We were just thankful that he took care of the issue, which ended up being something minor. Given the circumstances and the weather, we thought his price was extremely reasonable. I felt that he was honest, to the point and we felt comfortable with him being in our home. In the future, we will definitely call Jim for maintenance or any issues.

If you want to get ripped off by all means have work done by this company. A technician came out to fix our air conditioner told us it would be $ 275. We agree to the price and then get a phone call stating he didn’t do the proper diagnostics and it’s going to be an additional $ 450 to fix the motor. In total $ 725 to fix our AC! We refused to pay $ 725 before the work was done and the owner Jimmy told us he doesn’t want OUR business. I think it’s the other way around. We definitely don’t want his!!!
We ended up getting the work done for half the price through dornbos!
If you want to get hosed… Jimmy’s your man:)

Awesome! I called at 8 PM last night thinking I would receive a call back in the morning — they called an hour later, and had someone out to my mom’s house before 10 PM, saving her from a night of high temperatures and humidity with no AC. The technician was polite and friendly. I’d definitely call them again.

Called at 7am due to furnace acting up. Received a prompt call back and arrived in time window I was given. Furnace was fixed by 1pm same day. Excellent service, fair price. Highly recommend these guys!

I have been using C&J for about 10 years. They are really nice guys who always come when you call. They never try to sell you more than you need. They always offer practical advice. And most importantly, they fix what ever is wrong — with both heating and ac that is critical! I would highly recommend C&J!
