S&L Bed Sheets & More… gives you more all right… I got duped! I thought I was purchasing 1000 count Egyptian Sheets… ha… S&L Bed Sheets & More set up shop on a cart in the Orland Park mall near JcPenny by the elevator in the middle of the mall. They have 1000 count sheets sets on display for $ 30 — yes you read that right and 1200 count sets for $ 35. I eagerly bounced over to the cart to see what all the fuss was about. They have beautiful jewel tone colors as well as some pastel. In order to suck you in, the sales lady encouraged customers to open the package so they could feel the silky fabric. I was sold. The sheets are very soft to touch in the package. So, I frantically gave her my $ 30 so I would not miss out on my color choice — aubergine purple 6 pc set. Eager to try out my new purchase, I unraveled the sheets and pillow cases to prepare them to be laundered — yes, I launder everything that comes in contact with my skin before use. As I unraveled the sheets I notices how paper thin they were. They were so thin you could see through them. I then noticed the elastic for the fitted she was of very low quality. I looked at the label on the sheets and it read polyester! WTF? I was livid. I called the number on the invoice and business card to complain and the man who answered the phone didn’t care that he intentionally mis-represented the product he sold. He would not give me a refund so I’m stuck with paper thin polyester sheets. The sheets sold in Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are 1000 times better than the ones I purchased. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
