I started going to Dr. Deady about a year ago based on Unilocal review. and i must say the best dentist i have been to. i have since then ref. all my family to him and everyone who has visited him loves him as well. Great work reasonable prices. Top notch

Dr. Deady is the best! His office is gorgeous and his staff are friendly and professional. Appointments are easily made and you are taken care of promptly. My only regret is not finding this dentist sooner in life!

Dr. Deady is the best Dentist I have ever been to bar none. Not to mention the office is immaculate and clean. No topic of conversation is off limits with the boss man, he is more of a sports fan than you would imagine. College Basketball, Football, Baseball, he is all over it.
Give him a try, if you don’t like it send me the bill.

I am the type of person that if I lose trust in a professional, whether it be a doctor, dentist, etc. I am deathly afraid of going back! I had that experience at a dentist located in Oak Forest after I got a crown put in. I went to Dr. Deady after a coworker recommended him. I was so worried about something being wrong with the crown and repeatedly made appointments with him to just look at it to make sure it’s okay and he did so without any questions asked. His laid back personality reassured me so much about it and put my mind at ease. He didn’t treat me like a paranoid freak which is what I acted like because I was convinced there was something wrong with my crown. He also doesn’t try to make money off of you for unnecessary procedures. The dentist I was going to prior to him wanted to do all sorts of procedures and he felt that none of them were necessary (hopefully they are not! lol). The office staff is very nice and he makes you feel comfortable. The rooms are very clean and the equipment looks very updated. The dentist that I went to before had seemingly dirty rooms, old equipment, and the staff was friendly but it seemed disorganized. The dentist I saw before was only available once a week, Dr. Deady was available at many different hours. He really did make me feel much better about my crown situation.

I got new dental insurance so I had to search for a new dentist. I asked friends whose references were not in my network, so I went off of good ratings on Unilocal; therefore, I made a horrible choice in going to this dental office.
One of my teeth was broken during a routine filling, and the dentist acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I was extremely upset about it because I don’t take lightly cuspids being broken off of my teeth. I got a temporary tooth mold so I couldn’t eat on that side, followed by a more «permanent» casted tooth mold. I had horrible sensitivity problems, and returned several times about it, which did not alleviate my pain. I was told my tooth could be «dying». All of it was a huge waste of my time.
I tried using sensodyne, etc. After a couple years I still have sensitivity problems (I never had sensitivity EVER). I saw an endodontist during that time, who told me my roots are fine, which means my tooth is not «dead», aka the roots are not the problem. It is the mold in my tooth that is the problem, possibly the materials used, or how it was placed/​fused to the real parts of my tooth.
I will likely have to get the mold replaced by another dentist, or get a root canal for no reason since my roots are healthy, which will cost me more money.
When I went to a different dentist, they told me they couldn’t use the xrays from this office because the quality was awful. So if you end up transfering dentists after this one, you will have to pay for NEW xrays. Worst doctor experience in my life, so I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I am the kind of person who passes out when there is a needle within eyesight, yet alone being stuck into my gums! However, I can say that Dr. Deady’s laid back personality combined with his state-​of-​the-​art equipment have made my experiences at the dentist 100% tolerable and borderline enjoyable (strange I know!).
All of the office staff, from the front desk receptionists to the dental hygienists, are phenomenal! My entire immediate family of 7 goes to this office, and every staff member knows each of us personally and even asks us about the other family members when they see us. His staff seems to be like a little family… it’s ridiculously cute!
When I was living out of state I would make my cleaning appointments for when I was back home in Palos Park visiting my family. That is how much I love Dr. Deady and his staff!
There have been multiple occasions when family members have had emergency types of situations and Dr. Deady actually came in after hours and/​or on the weekends to treat them. He is a very honest man and does not act as a sales man, like some dentists do.
OH! AND he’s hilarious! He likes to laugh and make jokes while working on your mouth, which is very helpful. It allows the patient to get caught up in the jokes and forget that he is drilling into your teeth!
I have been a patient of Dr. Deady’s for the past 15 years. I recently got a new job with different dental insurance and was going to opt for the cheaper plan… that is until I realized that Dr. Deady is not in that HMO group. I contemplated just sucking it up and trying a new dentist, however after reading some Unilocal reviews on other dentists, I quickly decided to just pay a little more for my insurance so that I can continue to see Dr. Deady.
I honestly do not think I will ever go to another dentist! When he retires, I think my teeth will all fall out from lack of dental visits ;)
If you are looking for a dentist in the southwest suburbs, this is definitely the guy to go to! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Deady!

I’ve been going to Dr Deady for years now. He’s a great, gentle dentist, and really kind. I moved all the way to the city and cart my butt all the way back to Palos just to have my teeth cared for by him and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Deady is a fabulous dentist located in the southwest suburbs in Palos Park. When my family moved out to that area some years ago, we tried to change dentists, but recommendations from family members yielded few results. The dentists we contacted in Orland Park weren’t accepting referrals, and generally had a bit of a ‘tude, to boot. My mom, brother, and I were resigned that a move to the ‘burbs would mean the eventual decay and loss of our teeth. But thankfully, we took a chance on a name my mom came across, and found Dr. Deady.
The office is small, but has a large clientele, yet is somehow seldom busy. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait for my appointment – generally, when I arrive, my hygienist is the one waiting on me! I especially like that the same hygienist takes care of you every time, and that the staff and dentist all seem to remember small details about my family («How’s your brother and sister in law?») and interests («Ugh, those White Sox»). Nor does anyone try to engage me in conversation while their hands are in my mouth. They’re especially mindful of the fact that things hurt, and don’t approach my teeth with an accusatory attitude like some dentists, but instead, gentle reprimands («You know, you really do need to floss»). My mom has a deep seated fear or dentists, but somehow, she’s even warmed up to them, and I appreciate the fact that they’re not at all pushy or mean. Speaking of flossing, the finale of a teeth cleaning there is when the hygienist actually flosses for you, and as I have 2 permanent retainers, it’s a welcome touch. This is far too long of a review for a dentist, but one last thing – integrity. Dr. Deady overheard me wondering about teeth whitening services, and not only took time to explain them, but actually dissuaded me against spending the money, as he stated that my teeth were actually in great shape as they are. Awww.
Even changes in address and dental insurance (or lack thereof) haven’t been able to pry me away from Dr. Deady and his awesome staff. Although making appointments the full 6 months in advance is a little daunting, it’s worth it for clean, shiny teeth and a staff that doesn’t seem to hate their jobs – or my teeth.
