Established in 1981.

This Plastic Surgery practice under the direction of Dr. James A. Matas started in 1981 in Winter Park. A satellite office in Kissimmee, Fla. was added and in 1989 these offices were consolidated in the Doctor Phillips area of Orlando adding a fully accreditted surgical center and most recently a medical spa with organic microdermabrasion and skin care by a medical aesthetician

Business Owner

Attended the University of Notre Dame graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Went on to Medical School at the University of Miami and completed residencies in General Surgery at University of Cincinnati and Plastic Surgery at Indiana University. Served as President of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and Vice President of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Currently lives and practices in Doctor Phillips area of Orlando
