Dance Trance Fitness is a high-​energy, dance intensive workout program that’s like nothing else! We keep it fresh with new music, challenging with creative choreography, and every hour is bound to burn between 700‑1000 calories! Dance Trance is the perfect fitness program for women who grew up dancing and miss having it in their lives. It’s also an incredible program to start dancing for the first time if you’ve always dreamed of having sweet moves and the confidence to get out on the floor. The studio is filled with a nightclub-​like vibe and at the same time, camaraderie that connects a bunch of girls who love to dance on and off the dance floor. Studio Owner, Elisa DeFoe, and Lead Instructor, Renee Korte, have been together since 2010 and work incredibly hard to keep this program on the cutting edge of dance fitness options in Orlando. History

Established in 2009.

Jay Handline started the Dance Trance (DT) classes 16 years ago when he was tired of working out using the same steps, music & routines. He worked together with other well known choreographers across the nation trying to develop a successful program. His goal with Dance Trance was not to develop just a fitness class, but a movement that would resonate with students for the rest of their lives.

Business Owner

Elisa DeFoe (featured right) has danced casually all her life before realizing you don’t have to be a perfect dancer to dance perfectly for your own satisfaction. She brought Dance Trance to Orlando when she realized how much she missed it after moving from Jacksonville, Florida where Dance Trance is based. Elisa was moved to to open the studio against all odds — being overweight and overstressed — and has never looked back. She puts her heart and soul in to running a full fitness schedule every week and finding the best, highest energy teachers to help fill up classes to the max. The studio runs off a few ideas — ‘There are no mistakes, only solos’ and ‘Dance, Laugh, Sweat. Be Yourself!’
