Dean Asher, broker/​owner with Don Asher & Associates, Inc., in Orlando, is the 2013 president of the Florida Realtors, the state’s largest professional association with more than 115,000 members.

A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, Asher is a former president of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association and was «Realtor of the Year» in 2004. He continues to serve them in a role as Past President. On the state level, prior to serving as the 2013 President, Asher has served as a district vice president, director and member on a long list of committees. On the national level, he serves as a national director and has chaired and been a member of many committees for the National Association of Realtors.

Asher is also an active leader in the Orlando community. In July 2012 he was appointed by Governor Scott to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and currently serves as the Treasurer. He was a two-​term chairman of the Orlando Municipal Planning Board,
