Dr. Rodriguez utilizes an eclectic approach in counseling which goes beyond the mind and body connection recognizing the link between the physical/​body, mental/​mind, and emotional/​social/​spiritual aspects of the human being. After identifying and evaluating her client’s mental health problems and related human development challenges, Dr. Rodriguez employs effective methods of counseling and psychotherapy to treat individuals with different personal and mental health issues. Her goal is to create a dynamic and efficient path for change and problem resolution.

Clinical mental health counselors are highly-​skilled professionals who meet national standards for education, training and clinical practice. Dr. Edna M. Rodriguez, LMHC, LPC, NCC possesses a master’s and doctoral degree in counseling. She is a National Certified Counselor and is a professional member of the American Mental Health Counseling Association and Florida Mental Health Counseling Association. Her experience as a health educator and professional counselor gives her a unique perspective when dealing with her clients. She has been a speaker at annual conventions in the United States, Puerto Rico, Holland, France and Colombia.
