Last wednesday their computers were down. An employee came up and took my order by writing it down on paper and gave it to the manager to make. I paied cash because they couldn’t take card. My oder then came out and the manager came up to the counter and addressed all the customers that they were having difficulties and they were trying to get the computers up as quickly as possible. Still love the turn around in the store since that female manager left. Everyone is polite and the food was great. Thank you howies.

Absolutely AWFUL! I love Hungry Howies pizza and usually get it from the now closed Edgewater Drive store. First time getting it from the Kirkman store and you can be sure I will not be back. I have never seen pizza so overcooked– and not just one pizza! Both my pizzas were well beyond well done. Unfortunately I didn’t see them until I was home, which is 15 mins away. I promptly called and spoke to a manager by the name of James, who was not only rude, but not helpful at all. He said I could bring them back and didn’t seem to care that I was 15 mins away. I asked for a credit for future use and he flat out said no and refused to send a driver out with replacements. I will not be back and Hungry Howies will not stay in business much longer with that response to customer issues.

Worst customer service I ever had. Not friendly or understanding either. They messed up an order, which I was waiting on, by adding sausage to pizza subs — supposed to have pepperoni. I had to drive all the way back in pouring rain to get new order, which hadn’t even been started as they said they were not sure how long I would be. Had to negotiate a lousy discount which just covered the tip I shouldn’t have left originally. From now on I will find another location on my way home. So disappointed as a former loyal customer.

The worst customer service. Management that is aloof and could care less about customers. Friday night I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for pick up. When I got there, I opened the box and there were no pepperonis in the middle of the pizza, only on the edge. Now I have ordered many time from here and there was pepperoni covering the whole pizza. The website shows pepperoni on all of the pizza, the pictures in the store show pepperoni all over the pizza. I asked for the manager. Her name is Fransheka. Her attitude was, «why are you bothering me». I showed her and she said that’s the way we make them. I told her it was not acceptable and to remake it right. She told them to make another one, but did not see if it was made correctly and so it came out again with no pepperoni in the middle, again. I asked her why she didn’t make sure it was re made correctly. Her response was, «if you want pepperoni on all the pizza, it is $ 1.00 more. Really? Why did she bother to offer to make it again if it was going to be the same way? This is an example of poor management and a culture of not caring about the customer. I won’t be back, there are plenty of other places. I’d rather go to a locally owned pizza place that appreciates my business

So glad they opened one here. Usually they are far and inbetween I think thats how that expression goes. Now there is one in a convenient locatoin. I ordered ahead and picked it up. It was fast and same Hungry howies quality, they were busy because it was Wacky Wednesday! But good deal and only day I usually order from here. Cashier was friendly and got everything I needed. Newer shop so still pretty clean!

Bottom line — easily the best cheap pizza I think I have eaten before. Hungry Howie’s is very good at what it aims to provide — good pizza at really good prices. It is definitely better than most of its fast food competition. The staff at this location is friendly and it isn’t hard to find coupons to get their pizza for even less. This place will definitely get you by if you have a craving for pizza.

The best pizza in Orlando for the price. I was so excited when this location opened, but was worried it would not be as good as I remembered. It was better.

For cheap fast pizza, this is the way to go. They have free flavored crust in a variety of 8 mix and match flavors which was the selling point for me on trying them. In addition to the obvious pizza, Hungry Howie’s also has wings, breads, subs, salads and pastas, however we have only tried the pizza, breads and wings, all of which we enjoyed. The pizza is always fresh and hot but the real highlight is the crust which I always get Sesame Seed and Cajun. The Cajun has a nice kick to it and I have always thought that Sesame seeds complement pizza very well. My boyfriend and I tried their other breads but we now only get the Cajun Howie Bread which I think is out of this world and I feel like I could eat an entire order by myself with no issues. Again the Cajun does have quite a kick so I would only suggest this for those who like spice! For the wings you get average fast food style pizza wings similar to Papa Johns which is what I expect from a cheaper pizza place.(Hopefully my boyfriend and I will be able to try other items from the list soon so I can add to the list.) The staff here is nice but a little more business than fun which is fine for me as i always pick it up to take home. They do have a few tables, a TV(that I have only seen football games on) and will give you anything you need to eat there so if you would like you could always eat there too.
