Can I put 6 stars? We have been coming to Irish Mikes for 5 years. We are always happy with the level of service we receive whether it has been for colision or service. Rob in service is number one in our book and has always steered us in the right direction when it comes to our vehicles. Rob has been able show us what the priorities are and what could possible wait. Service has been has always been quick. If there were ever any problems afterwards, which was very rare, Rob always made sure it was taken care of quickly. We recommend Irish Mikes to our family and friends all the time!

I hate to even give this place 1 star! It deserves zero. I was involved in a car accident. I used GEICO as they recommend them. Worst. Mistake. Of. My. Life. They treat you fine in the beginning… but then it goes downhill fast. They told me 3 – 5 days… two weeks later my car is in worse shape then I brought it in. Firstly, my back door didn’t open and my brand new tint was torn in 3 places. And they damaged my door speaker. Plus, the door wouldn’t close all the way! Also they got my tan seats very dirty and it smelled like mildew and completely wet!!! I was so upset that I took my car back the next day and the «owner/​manager» didn’t even want to touch it… after I told him my next plan… they agreed to «fix» the issues. 1 week later they were ready for me to pick it up and acted like they did me a huge favor! Then after I picked up a few days later, I looked under my hood after washing my car and noticed they dented my engine cover! I ended up trading in my car for a brand new car! I was so upset. Don’t do it!

I took my car in for an oil change and a strange sound. The mechanic that worked with me told me he couldn’t find anything wrong with my car but if it happened again to give him a car right away and he’d check it out. It was a nice feeling knowing I wasn’t being taken advantage for my lack of auto knowledge. I will definitely return.

My initial experience with Irish Mike’s was great– I was rear ended and the person has GEICO insurance and they took great care of me: I was greeted by a team that made me feel like a VIP and getting the rental was a breeze.
After that it was all downhill. The repairs took about 5 days longer than I was told, and when I got the car back and there were many issues, there were no techs as they had all left an hour early. There were a number of issues that had nothing to do with my repairs, including something falling into the AC while my car was there, which they refused to do anything about and it still makes a rattling noise, my check engine light was on, and most disturbing the contacts on my battery were not properly tightened causing my car to short out and not start. As far as the actual repairs, my door was not properly realigned and would not seal. They gave me a hard time and did not want to take responsibility for the shoddy work. They eventually fixed the door, however my overall experience was a major headache, and they left the car a dirty mess of grime, smudges and dust.

A top contender for the Darwin Award backed into my car a few weeks ago, despite me leaning on the horn because I could tell she wasn’t looking and was backing out way too fast, and then she took off without giving me her insurance information. Fantastic. I filed a claim through Geico, and even though I was (obviously) ruled not at fault, I did have to pay my $ 250 deductible to get the damage repaired. Irish Mike’s took the sting out of this unfortunate and infuriating incident by providing fast and excellent service!
I arrived at my appointment 20 minutes early and the manager, Kenny, greeted me by name as I got out of my car. He gave me his card and asked me to let him know if I received anything other than excellent service. He immediately brought out the repairman, Manny, who kindly explained all the paperwork I had to sign and described the steps he would take to fix my car. They whisked me to the Enterprise rental stand and I was in a rental car within 15 minutes of arriving. I expected the repairs to take a few days, but I got a call around 4:30 on the SAME DAY saying my car would be ready to pick up at 5. What?! I picked it up and not only was the damage fixed, but Manny also replaced my tow cap, which had been long lost, for free! The woman who checked me out was friendly and efficient – I was out in less than five minutes. Then, when I was driving home I realized that they had also vacuumed and detailed the inside of my car, which was fantastic because I had taken it to the beach the week before and it was all sandy!
I was super impressed with the speed and quality of the repairs, and with the whole set-​up Irish Mikes, Geico, and Enterprise are running over there. It is so rare to truly be taken care of in these situations and I’m so grateful that Irish Mikes and Geico made a bad situation a little more bearable.

Heard great things about these guys but was very disappointed. Walked in the front door only to be greeted by a lady behind the desk who didn’t seem happy to see me at all. Didn’t smile one time. I almost walked out because I didn’t feel invited.
I got a quote on some decent damage my son did when he backed into me. While my car was under view the man stated that it wouldn’t be anymore then 1000 $ and he was confident about it. As I sat and waited, the man returned with a quote for 2400 $!
They need to learn the phrase «under promise, over deliver»

I took my kia optima here on a Friday to get fixed, was told that the fix would be done on the following Friday. I called Friday in the AM and was told to leave a message and that they would let me know as soon as the manager came back in. I waited until 3pm when I called and was told that my car was nowhere near done and that it would be Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest. When I told them I had no way to get to school on Saturday as I was told the repairs would be done on Friday, they basically gave me an «oh well». The staff is RUDE and don’t plan on getting your car back in a timely manner! The only salvation was the repair, which is why this got ³⁄₅ instead of ¹⁄₅.
Irish Mikes returned my car to me in PERFECT shape. It was completely fixed with not a scratch! On top of that, they cleaned/​detailed my car which looked and smelled amazing. If you are looking for a super friendly, quick fix… this isn’t it. But if you are looking for the job done right for a fair price. I have to say this is the best I’ve come by in the Orlando area… Not the best… but I’d trust them with my car again.

My car broke down so when AAA came to pick me up they suggested I went to Irish Mikes. I lived right next to them, so I thought «how convenient.» They estimated it would cost me around 800 dollars saying that I had bad alternator (which was true) a tension belt needing replacement and that my battery wasn’t taking a charge. Well, I couldn’t afford this huge expense, so I went to a friend in Tampa who charged 440 instead of 800. In addition to the way lower price, he told me that my battery charged fine. It was an almost new battery. Just be careful for places like this. Your going to get charged a lot. And my guy told me that the batteries are one of the biggest things they try to rip people off from. Just shows a lack of honesty and professionalism when my battery easily took a charge from a trustworthy mechanic.

Had to get repairs on the other person’s insurance when I was rear-​ended a couple months ago. Irish Mike’s was very fast, the people were friendly, and my new bumper looks amazing.
I was surprised how fast they performed the service, and plan to use them for checkups.

I’ve been taking vehicles here for years. They have smart techs and service people that are interested in fixing your problem and keeping your business. I once took a potential $ 800 repair to them for a second opinion and they repaired the $ 32 sensor that was broken. That’s all I needed.
I’m only giving 4 stars because they aren’t the cheapest. The quality makes up for this, but c’mon, I’m trying to make good use of a five star system. More affordability would make this place perfect, so I give them merely «where I always take my car, not perfect but the best deal you can get. »

I found this shop through Geico, as they offer a «one-​stop shop» estimation and accident repair process with them. They had very convenient apt. times and when I brought my car in they had someone from the shop, geico and the rental agency all there to meet with me. The paperwork for all three and recording the damage to the car was finished in about 15 minutes. They were able to obtain the parts and repair the damage in four days and when I went to pick up my car they had also washed and vacuumed it, which was a nice bonus. All of the staff were friendly and answered all my questions and they have a nice waiting area inside. I would definitely utilize them again for any repair work!

After an auto accident, the last thing you want to think about is getting crappy service from an auto shop. Geico directed me to Irish mike’s and I am so glad that they did!
I was greeted by the geico agent, enterprise dealer, and store manager as I pulled up. They had me welcomed, paperwork signed, and in a rental car in 20 minutes! I would have been quicker if I didn’t have to transfer a car seat.
They had my car fixed in 3 days, as promised. Picking up the car was just as quick as drop off. They did a great job with the body work and paint job.
Their waiting area is clean, spacious, and comfortable.
I’ll definitely be back if I have any other issues!

This place was great. No hassle. they were very accommodating. I came in and left my car for some body work. They repainted my car to factory standards. The staff was very nice especially the Enterprise agent that drove me and forth to the car.

I dropped my car off here after an auto accident. I have never been here before, but I was directed to them from insurance.
I was told I needed panels replaced and an alignment.
They told me the job was going to take about 3 days, and it did. My car was finished around 1:00PM on Monday. I went to pick it up and it looked great! The whole staff was very friendly, Irish Mikes and the rental company, and when I picked up my car they also checked one other problem for me for free.
I wen back the next day because right after I got it, my blinker stopped working (the bulb). Probably not related to their service at all, might have been from the accident. I called them and they right away and fixed it free.
I will consider going here for my regular repairs.

Excellent top notch facility my car was in an accident and was towed here and was told there was a great body shop on site, came out looking brand new, I highly recommend this place.

If I could give ⁰⁄₅ stars I would. This place was horrible to us! Our car wouldn’t start and so AAA picked us up and took us here. They fixed the problem with it starting, but suddenly there was a new one. The air conditioning wasn’t working!
When we tried to explain that the air conditioning had just been fixed one week beforehand, and therefore would appreciate it if they took responsibility for it and fix it without charge. They acted very defensive and refused rudely. After a long time waiting, we talked to a manager who handled the situation worse than the office staff. He refused to even hear our side of the story and accused us of trying to rob him! It was the worse business management that I have seen in awhile. His behavior reminded me of a toddler. It even culminated in him calling my husband an idiot to his face!
Being raised and educated about what constitutes good business, this manager handled everything wrongly. We were calm the entire time, but the defensiveness and accusatory nature of the staff and manager set us on edge. We decided to take our car, without the air conditioner fixed, down the road to another repair shop, who has always treated us fairly, to be fixed instead. We didn’t want to give Irish Mike’s any more of our business and the opportunity to possibly damage anything else.

Always great! We’ve been taking our vehicles here for years. Yesterday we took our truck in to have them fix coolant and power steering leaks, and before that they’ve done the brakes, radiator and tune-​ups. They’re always super fast and accommodate our busy schedules (open Saturdays) and work with us on paying for the services.

Irish Mike’s was recommended by others as being a great place to get car work done. However, when my girlfriend dropped off her car she had nothing but problems with the service.
When she dropped off the car on Friday morning they said they would try to finish it by the end of the day. This was not the case. She was then told it would be done on Monday since Friday’s are usually backed up from the week.
Once again she called in on Monday to see if the car was completed over the weekend. It was not. She was told it would be done in the afternoon. She called back in the afternoon and was told it would be done around 4:30. A bit irate, she asked if it could be finished at 2pm, then settled on 3:30pm.
It was not finished on time and was told it would not be done at 4:30 either. She then talked to Mike (owner) and was helped immediately. He soon found out that they had forgotten about her car twice and put the wrong color paint on the car.
Mike helped out a lot though, and rented her a car she could use for the next day and made sure the job was done on time. He then took some money off of the overall price.
Overall, it seems that job is a bit mis managed and the up front people do not have a clear line of communication with the mechanics. I would not recommend people going to this establishment based off of the one instance that we encountered, but then again it was one time. The job was average to mediocre at best and wish they would have done a more thorough job.

I dropped by Irish Mike’s on recommendation of another Unilocaler. The place is clean and I could not help but notice the «top shop» awards everywhere, in addition to the AAA approval signs.
I was seen once I entered and explained my issue. Because of all the heavy rain, I had a leak in my trunk, and it was to the point of collecting a pond in it. It was really stinky by this point and I was afraid some tadpoles might somehow develop if I did not get it fixed soon. The problem was quickly identified and fixed.. .at no charge.
Huh? Yeah, I know, but because the repair was so simple, they decided not to charge me for it.
Does not get any better than this!

Had to get some bodywork done on my car a few weeks ago. I had asked around and I got a resounding reply, «Irish Mike’s» was the place.
You know, going to a body shop can always be tough because you are just waiting for that moment when the mechanic comes out with a grim looking face, telling you about all the work that you would need done just to make sure you aren’t riding around in a seemingly ticking time bomb.
Not the case at Irish Mike’s. I had one request, and they honored it. When I arrived to drop off my car, they offered me a ride to wherever I was going. When I came back to get the car a few hours later, I found that the work was done, and my entire car was detailed in the process.
Definite brownie points.
