After graduating from the University of Florida with a Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Jaeger was a prosecutor from 1974 until 1981. During his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office, Orange County, Mr. Jaeger was the Chief of County Courts, Chief of Traffic Court and Chief of the Juvenile Division. As a prosecuting attorney, Mr. Jaeger received special governor appointments for murder cases in counties where there was a conflict with the State Attorney’s Office. He was the first prosecutor to try a Racketeering/​RICO case in Seminole County. Mr. Jaeger was appointed to represent the State Attorney’s Office at the National Juvenile Justice Conference in Washington D.C., which resulted in a statutory reform of juvenile law in the State of Florida.
