Stopped here to get some supplies for a school project. It was close to closing so I figured that the staff would be irritated if I asked them a question. This was just the opposite– they helped me and assisted me with my needs even after closing.

While this is the only decent Joanns around for size and stock, it’s the staff that ruins this place for me. They usually ignore you or make you get out of the way for them. The cutting table staff are clueless and make sarcastic comments about what you are making and that’s if they know what it even is.

Don’t know if the staff training is at fault and therefore a corporate issue or the staff in this branch are just incompetent. Store is fine(and therefore earns the two stars) but let down badly by the poor staff.

Never have I experienced such rude service! We walk up 5 minutes before the store was closing and the front door was closed. We walk through the exit and the lady very rudely yelled that they were already closed. I explained that we had a coupon that was expiring that night, the sign said they were open for another 5 minutes and that we already knew what we wanted and would be very quick. We were walking toward the needles in the back and as we passed the sowing machines. The lady yelled that coupons did not work on sowing machines and that the department that handled that closed already. We left without purchasing anything. If you want to close early speak with your corporate office and change the sign on the front door, but hassling customers to get them out the door will only make them leave and not return. As someone who used to work in the Waterford lakes shopping center, I know it is not a cheap plaza have a store. At this rate and how poorly organized the store is, I’m in shock that the store is still open.

Very larger store with lots of materials for crafts! I come here to get my yarn for knitting. The prices here are much better than Michael’s. They have a very larger knitting section filled with needles and tons of yarn! They even offer a student discount if you show them your student ID! This store is never really full or packed and the employees are all very sweet. The only bad thing is that the line to pay can be slow, but I don’t see that as a big issue.

JoAnn’s is my go to place whenever I need friends. I came here looking for a frame for a document that was an odd size. I located one of those floating frames that fit my image perfectly. The store is a crafters paradise. Everything you can imagine, and things that you don’t even knew existed. On this visit today all of the employees that I encountered were very helpful, very courteous and giving extraordinary customer service. I recommend a visit to this location when you are in need of arts and crafts supplies, frames and anything else you can think of that you could put together.

The customer service here isn’t the best but they have such good deals. Tips: DL The App, coupons immediately. They take competitors coupons.(ie. Hobby Lobby 40% off 1 item coupon) Print the coupons online too: You can use multiple coupons during a purchase. Most items are on sale each month(ie. frames 50% off at least once a month) You can check inventory for each location on their site. Go fourth and be crafty!

I confess, most of my trips to Joann are the evening before my kids have a school project due. Or a desperate supply run a few hours before a Girl Scout meeting. That said, I tend to be stressed when I shop here. I am not a leisurely crafter — I’m a mom on a mission. In the past year there was one item I needed that they didn’t have in stock(black perler beads — and they couldn’t be found anywhere in town, I ended up ordering online). I don’t like the whole coupon thing here. To me it seems that they intentionally price things a bit high expecting people to use coupons. On the bright side they have mobile coupons available now and my last purchase the cashier scanned all of the coupons on my phone(I thought they would just accept one).

As a person who partakes in various forms of arts and crafts; Joann’s’ is my go-to for supplies. They have everything ranging from fabric,(this store has a large selection in particular) yarns, canvases, paints, brushes, jewelry making supplies, baking and candy supplies, I mean, the list goes on. If you sign up for their mailing list, they send you coupons which sometimes cuts your shopping total in half or more. On one occasion my total had ascended to $ 48 and after coupons I only paid $ 21 needless to say I left very happy that day. If you’ve got a smart phone, google«Joann coupons» show it to the cashier and get even more savings.

I really prefer the Michaels across the way to this store. But, if you are looking for FABRIC… this is your place. They have tons of fabric where Michaels selection is not nearly what this one is. However, I usually am going for crafts and although I could find what I needed eventually… the place seems cluttery and busy and I found it hard to get everything quickly. I also felt like the craft part was seriously lacking — it’s way more of just a fabric store.

Been here three times this week due to a project. Each time the store was understaffed with people who don’t sew. Apparently this store only hires young unhappy people who don’t know anything about the product they sell. And then they schedule fewer kids than they need to run the place. The store is looking dirty and worn.

Not going to lie, I shop there a lot. I’m a crafter and love the selection of Scrapbooking, Stamping, Holiday décor and the fact that they always offer coupons via mailers or an iPhone app. There is a manager that is not pleasant, but the rest of the employees are super nice and go out of their way to help you. They have recently done very well by keeping many cashiers scheduled to keep the lines down. Great selection of craft and other magazines.

This Joanns is really nice, and really big, they seem to have a big supply. I like to make fleece blankets, so lately I checked Joanns website for their fleece designs, they had 4 really cute designs I’d figure I’d go into the store to purchase(said available in stores), and they only had 1 of the 4. When I asked if they could help me locate them, they were very friendly, and took me to the spot where they would be, if they had them, and helped me look. I don’t mind online buying, so I will purchase them online, just wish they carried more fleece patterns that they have online, or at least notate«online only» like they do some products. Check out can be long, they usually only have 1 or 2 registers opened even if there is a long line.

This is my favorite JoAnns in the Orlando area, if not all of FL. They have a great selection of cottons and other fabrics, they’re very helpful when my friend needed help deciphering a pattern, and they’re very friendly when you go through the cutting lines and cashier. Most of their workers seem like they enjoy their job.

My wife runs a wedding design business and so it requires weekly, if not daily, trips to Joann’s. Every once in a while I am asked to go along. My initial thought is «Aggrrrrr!!!» but I will go. I must say that I have been really impressed with their customer service and selection of different products(especially paper goods). They have dozens of different paper products for scrapbookers, designers and all those in between. My wife always seems to be able to find what she needs with little effort and I love that because I’ve been my wife to other craft stores where we’ve spent over an hour looking for products… frustrating to say the least. I also love the fact that they have a great coupon program set up. My wife always seems to have«BOYO» or 50% coupons when she goes to checkout and we are not«Coupon-clippers» by any stretch of the imagination. The staff always seems to be very sweet and most of all understanding. My wife does a lot of returns and exchanges with her business and they never seem frustrated or upset about the extra work. They carry on conversations with us and seem to really be interested in our lives. That is often a lost art with larger chains, but Joann’s has not lost sight of what is most important; the customer. 4 Stars!!!

I am normally not the type of person that comes in here but i came here looking for fabric to make a costume for Halloween and could not find the right texture and the employees that we asked for help was only able to point us in the right direction but not help us all the way to find what we were looking for. Long lines and only three registers open.

I am a fan of Joann’s! I am big on arts and crafts and I frequently go to Joann’s to stock up on supplies. If you are into anything from painting to sewing; Joann’s has pretty much everything you’ll need at pretty decent prices. My new fad is rubber-stamping and card making — let me tell you, Joann has one of the most impressive selections of papers and stamps that I’ve seen around. The best part is that every other week or so they have all their rubber stamping supplies at 40% off. When I got married, I bought a bunch of the supplies for making the invitations and table setting at Joann’s. I waited until they had sales and scoped out the Sunday paper for their weekly calendar and ended up getting a great deal. Sign up for their mailing list and you’ll receive loads of good coupons — from 10% off your total order, to 40% off one regularly priced item. YAY for saving money!
