Our recipes are 100% our own. You will not find a popcorn taste like this anywhere else. This place is an amazingly delicious hidden gem. A friend gave me some popcorn (blue raspberry) from here and I was intrigued. She told me stories about how they have flavors ranging from traditional Chicago style (caramel and chedder) to hot wing and bacon flavor. During my next lunch break I was there. Trying everything. What a creative and fun snack. I even ordered the cheesecake flavor, half kept the white color and half dyed blue for wedding favors at my wedding. Try everything, you won’t be disappointed. And this place owned and run by a local family.

This is a really cute little shop right by downtown. When you walk in, they have a blackboard with all the flavors they have and a pricing guide beside it that is all coordinated. It may seem a little confusing at first but it very quickly makes sense.
The staff there is very friendly and eager to help with any popcorn questions you may have. They also offer samples to help you decide what flavors you want to purchase. I highly recommend trying the flavors before you buy them because there were two that we thought would be excellent but were not our favorites. With that said we did buy five different bags of popcorn and each one is incredible. Far better than anything you would find in a regular store.
They also offer tins and various other popcorn options. Great for many occasions. Definitely worth checking out even if you aren’t typically a fan of popcorn. They have something for everyone!

As a last minute decision for a wedding party favor, Kernel Encore did so great at getting our popcorn to us the day before our wedding! When I had selected «rush order» late Sunday night, I recieved a courtesy call the very next day for a clarification of when we needed our popcorn. great customer service!
I ordered two 15 gallon boxes of the original kettle corn flavor for such a great price! I searched all over the net for tasty but reasonably priced popcorn and luckily came across their site! I will warn you guys (because I was concerned immediatelywhen I opened the first box) it tasted like it was burnt– I don’t know if that’s normal or if that has happened to anyone else (only a small percentage of popcorn did look over toasted) BUT that «burnt flavor» dissipated after a couple hours! Once the flavor settled in, the popcorn was crazy good and highly addictive!!! It was continuously complimented on by all of our family and friends; so many people asked me where I got it!
Obviously I highly recommend this! I’m curious about their other favors and can’t wait to try them!

How cute is this place?! It’s tiny and smells delicious. What a great small business.
I picked up popcorn for a bride-to-be’s reception at Rosen Shingle and it was a hit. The champagne flavor had sparkles on it and they had tons of flavors you could buy in small sizes. I definitely picked up a couple for myself. The bubble gum and mai tai were both delicious.

My now husband and I really wanted a popcorn bar at our wedding this past weekend. We found Kernel Encore online and decided to take a chance with them (we live in Los Angeles, CA).
I worked with Victoria who is an absolutely DOLL! She helped me figure out how much popcorn I needed for my reception, gave me good advice on flavours and helped me stay within budget. She was so easy to work with and I felt 100% comfortable placing a bulk online order with them because of her.
Sadly, I did not get to eat any of the popcorn at the wedding but all our guests raved about it! The best part is that they have GLITTER POPCORN! GLITTER!
If I ever need popcorn in bulk for another event, I’m definitely reaching out to Kernel Encore again.

I won a 12-​pack sampler via Twitter and was so excited to visit Kernel Encore Gourmet Popcorn, which has been in its location approximately nine years. The wide variety of flavor choices was fantastic and while I had a hard time choosing, the staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to promoting this business to folks looking for a tasty party addition, gift options and unique treats.

This is one of my favorite ‘how does this place exist?’ Places in Orlando (oh yes, the are a few of these… A list is in the works…).
I’d driven by it a million times and always wondered about it. Was it a drug front? Did they run a secret gambling business in the back room?
Finally, my curiosity got the best of me and I stepped inside to find something even cooler– a fully-​functioning, pretty darn impressive popcorn store. It was true! They really only sold popcorn! But don’t mistake that ‘only’ as being dismissive. No, this was the best popcorn I’ve ever had. Hundreds of flavors to chose from, each more bizarrely enticing than the last!
This kind of establishment makes me so excited for Orlando. W’re growing into a really great, hip city, but we don’t lose the charm of places like this. I hope it stays around for a long time!

I LOVE this popcorn store! It’s a tiny mom & pop shop so they remember you when you come in – a great thing to do!
The store has tons of different flavors – original, sweet, savory, combos. My favorites are ranch, sour cream and onion, and cheesy bbq. Oh yum!
And if you’re not sure if you’d like a flavor, feel free to ask for a sample.
I have one complaint about this store – that its on the other side of town! But it’s so good that when I run out of popcorn, I hop right in my car and make my way over! If you’re a popcorn fanatic like I am, don’t miss out!

I’ve always been afraid to head into this place, and now I’m hooked. A great place to be if you are a popcorn addict. Lol!
My goal is to try all 200 + flavors. so far I’ve had Dill Pickle — very strong dill flavor. Grape-​tasted like grape, tangerine-​tasted like tangerine, root beer and caramel were kind of similar in flavor, all were awesome.
They make popcorn balls, sell small snack bags, create gift baskets and sell large quantities if you wish. You can try any flavors they have available, just ask.

I love popcorn. I could sit all day and eat bag after bag of popcorn. This is why I am so glad I found this place. They have over 200 flavors, but they only have so many of those 200 made at one time. The girl working told me that they have been very busy, so the selection of popcorn right now is limited.
Most people have written about how they would let you sample anything before you buy it. When I went in they had two flavors out for samples, but the worker didn’t mention anything to me about trying anything else. I would have liked to try some flavors before I purchased anything.
I ended up getting kettle corn. AMAZING and chili cheese. not so great. I am a huge kettle corn fan, and I will come back for this again and again. However, the chili cheese tasted nothing like chili or cheese. It actually tasted smokey. I can’t wait to come back to try even more flavors.

So delicious! I am a popcorn fiend, it’s one of my top favorite snacks (and sometimes meal).
When I came across Kernel Encore I always thought, man, I need to stop in there. Finally I partnered up with them for an event and they brought their trailer out and everyone was sampling their huge variety of flavors. Yes, over 200! I headed into the store this week, finally and it smells amazing. I had no idea on what flavors I wanted to get so I chatted with the ladies on the varieties, what they had in stock to walk out with and sampled a few flavors. They packaged everything up and labeled it so it was clear and I was a happy popcorn person!
You can buy bags, gallons, tins, gift baskets, really anything you can think of. And yes, you can head into a shop and sample each flavor!
I highly suggest checking this place out for yourself, cool idea for gifts and awesome favors to bring to parties!

For one, I am all for supporting local business. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to go to Kernel Encore Gourmet Popcorn. The other reasons are my LOVE of popcorn and there isn’t a Doc Popcorn in Orlando for miles.
For a family owned popcorn store I was impressed that they had over 180 flavors. The prices are reasonable too. However, the popcorn I bought (Theatre Butter and Cheddar Cheese) were terrible. The butter popcorn was stale and had very little butter flavor to it.
The main problem was the cheddar cheese. It was horrible. Words cannot describe for the unappealing (lack there of) cheddar cheese flavor.
Such disappoint. I don’t think I will go here again.

Cool place to grab some popcorn they claim to have over 180 flavors but I didn’t see half of that on the board. However, what was on the board was pretty wild and interesting. They give you free samples so don’t be afraid to ask to taste whatever it was that caught your eye.
I really enjoyed the spicy caramel and hot wing flavor.

Kernel Encore has the best popcorn, hands down. Not only is the popcorn fabulous but the employees are super friendly and give you all the FREE samples you could want! You’ll need them because there are dozens of flavors to choose from.
First, my favorites: Cheddar and White Cheddar are made with real cheese and are both equally delicious. For a sweet flavor and overall best: Smores. Yes, Smores is drizzled with chocolate, dusted with graham cracker bits and even has tiny little marshmallows. I could eat an entire bag!
Sounded promising but disappointing: White chocolate macadamia nut– the flavors don’t mesh well together. Garlic Parmesan– too bland. Marshmallow– the marshmallow flavor is lost on the popcorn.
My son loves the fruit flavored popcorn: apple, grape, cherry, strawberry, blueberry, banana– you name it. Then there are mixes like Carmel apple, blueberry cheesecake and confetti.
Kernel Encore has been around for a decade. Stop by, check them out and feel like a kid again.

I’ve passed by Kernal Encore a gazillion times through the years. Not any more! I went in to see what it was all about after lunch on Friday. I was overwhelmed by all the selections written on the chalk board, and the bagged flavors featured on the shelf. Well, with 180-​flavors to choose from, where do you start?! The walls are lined with plastic tubs of flavored popped corn. Since I planned on going to an outdoor movie later that evening, I went for 2 easy picks– yellow cheddar and kettle corn. There are various size options for purchase. I got the smallest bags available, which is the «sample» (I think that is what it was called). Each averaged about $ 2 (=about 2 cups) per bag. There are flavors such as peanut butter and jelly, ranch, cinnamon bun, ketchup, chocolate drizzle, buffalo wing, cheesecake, lemon… the flavors go on and on… I will have to return soon to give the flavors all a fair try.

Decided to check this place out based on the other Unilocal reviews, and since we liked it so much we’ve been twice! We tried and purchased the Buffalo Ranch, peanut butter, salt and vinegar, and oreo cheesecake flavors all of which are awesome! Flavors we didn’t like too much were the caramel and taco flavors. Taco had way tooooooooo much cumin, and the batch we sampled also tasted a bit stale. As for the caramel, it was kinda «blah,» and not very rich or complex tasting.
Nice thing about this shop is that they will let you sample any of the flavors, and will package your popcorn into any type or size container that you need. Also, Encore is just down the street from the theatre at Fashion Square Mall… which is über convenient if you don’t nasty stale popcorn from the theatre :)

I arrived home last nite to find 3 bags of popcorn on my computer desk from KERNEL ENCORE!
Just to tell you a secret… in grad school, I used to eat popcorn for dinner… please don’t tell my mom! :D
Anyways, on my table sat three flavors: HOUSE, BUTTER &SALT, & POWER CHEESE… guess which one I finished in one sitting!!!
The HOUSE bag of course! The HOUSE flavor was full of sweet caramel and buttery goodness! I couldn’t stop licking my hands (please don’t tell my mom that either! LoL). The popcorn just reminded me of freshly popped Kettle popcorn from the Farmer’s Market in New Orleans (where I attended grad school!).
Despite finding my obvious favorite popcorn bag, each bag was full of FRESHNESS and DELICIOUS flavor!
I think I found my new dinner meal again… this time in assorted flavors! ;D

My boyfriend and I decided it would be fun to go check out this weekend. The owner was really friendly and let us sample several flavors. We loved the beer popcorn and the amaretto was good too. The caramel apple is also yummy. I also tried the lime chili caramel which was interesting.
We will def be going back again as their are so many flavors that intrigued me.

I’ve tried about 20 of their 180 flavors and they’ve all been awesome! They have small sample bags as cheap as $ 1 to a box of popcorn for about $ 30. Everything is fresh, air popped (except the kettle corn) and delicious!
I’ve bought sereval bags and served them to out of town company to kind of show off that my towns better than their town lol. Always a hit, havent found a flavor I dont like!
If you have a Buy Orlando Card you also get an extra discount with that. Definately worth a visit

Although I only sampled one of their 180 flavors, I’m going with 5 stars based on what they do, and how they do it.
My boyfriend and I «popped» in one day after riding by many times. We were kindly greeted by the owner and learned a great deal about how they got started. She was extremely friendly overall and I decided that she is the type of person to be that friendly regardless of making a sale. She allowed my boyfriend to try as many samples as he wanted and happily answered all of our questions.
I tried one of their house favorites, caramel corn sprinkled with white cheddar. It sounds very odd, but it was very good and almost creamy. They literally have every flavor under the sun including margarita, coconut, oreo, chicken wing, and beer. They carry the standards of course and on weekends offer a tent in their parking lot for anyone looking just to buy kettle corn.
The prices are okay; just what you’d expect for gourmet popcorn. But the novelty of what they sell, and the customer service will definitely have us coming back for more.
