Mr. Smith started working for the Detroit Police Department in 1989, and joined the United States Army in 1991 as an Electronic Warfare Signals Intelligence Analyst. After an honorable discharge, he worked for the Florida Highway Patrol from 1995 until 1997.

Mr. Smith obtained a bachelor’s degree from UCF in 1996 with honors, and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 2000, and passed the bar on the first try. Since then, he has practiced all over Florida and continues to assist Central Floridians with all kinds of cases.

Mr. Smith is also a member of the Federal Bar, and is licensed to practice in Federal court.
