O’reilly Auto Parts

There is a stretch on E. Colonial roughly between Dean Rd. and Alafaya Trail that is home to 4 auto parts stores.
O’Reilly is the newest one in the neighborhood.
Recently I needed a part for one of my «vintage» cars, a 1977 Buick.
I went to the yellow store, where the man said he could get it for me «Later today.» He didn’t give me a price.
The second store, where the professional mechanics go, had it at the Tampa warehouse, and could «get it by tomorrow. $ 23.95.»
O’Reillys had it in stock for $ 10.99.
This was my first visit to this clean, new, well stocked store, but I’m sure it won’t be my last.
The shelf prices on things like oil, filters, and accessories seemed to be as good as or better than the other kids on the block, too. Even Wal Mart.

Plus, they have some motorcycle parts, and some lawn equipment items.
They DO loan specialty tools and most locations will turn brake drums/​rotors for you!
If you change your own oil, they’ll recycle the old dirty oil for you.
They’ll test your battery, alternator and some other systems for free.
