Do NOT believe this company. It is highly a scam.
I own a carryout in northern Virginia, and I was approached by their sales rep yesterday. He was there for 2 hours pushing me to sign the 4-​year
Contract. I rejected him many times because I felt like he was too pushy. i meant he was in my restaurant for 2 hrs. Yes, his offer seems very tempting, but you can never trust a sales rep until you do research about this company.
–I read their online review– most of them are terrible.
— I called and talked to the owner of a store (the sales rep claimed that this Owner is one of his customers). You know what? The owner of that store told me she had never signed the contract with performance merchant alliance, and she was not going to because she felt that the sales rep was so pushy. So, the sales rep was LYING.
–I read all the «positive reviews» about this company. I doubt that these reviews were written by people who were hired by Performance Merchant service. One of reviewers called «Kate M» who left a comment 3 months ago giving 5 stars to this company claiming that it was «the best merchant service provider». However, she rated another card service provider «united card solutions» 5 star saying that it’s the best merchant service provider –just 1 month before this 5-​star comment. So, she rated 2 trashy merchant card providers 5 star and claimed they had the best service. Why would a person has 2 merchant card providers at the same time? The answer is so obvious– she was hired. Other positive reviews seemed very fake.
My comment: stay away and don’t even let their sales rep start talking.

I am here to warn others about this SCAM! Please do not sign up with this company. They will make it sound good on paper and sure their rates are low but it will end up being more with the erroneous misc. fees, annual fees, chargeback fees, minimum monthly fees and tons more. NOT ONLY THAT YOU HAVE TO LEASE THE EQUIPMENT WHICH IS 300+ a month on top of that!
they try and make you sign on the stop with no time to look over the paper work. NOT ONLY ARE THEY PUSHY THEY MAKE YOU SIGN A NON-​CANCELABLE 46 MONTH LEASE FOR EQUIPMENT.

As an owner of several businesses my merchant accounts was etremely high. I started doing reserch to see if I could some how reduce my monthly fees. I found Performance merchant alliance and scheduled a consultation to see if they could save me money. They was able to reduce my monthly bill by 50% !!! With this extra cash I have expanded my company’s and increased my personal savings. Thank you PMA!!!
I have read other complaints and reviews on here about this PMA company. I want to know how long you have used them and why the hate and anger? These reviews sound like someone came to your business a robbed you or maybe you are a competitor to this PMA company so you want to hurt their reputation? Please prove to all of us what happened because I am extremely happy with my multiple accounts. Thanks

Performance merchant services is the best merchant services provider I have ever worked with. I was a bit afraid when they were recommended to me by a friend but right the beginning, I knew as was at the right hand as they’re truly dedicated to helping small businesses succeed and that means so much to me and my business and the community in whole. They’re reliable, available, courteous and always ready to speak with you on any matter so as to aid their partners’ development… really grateful for their support!

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY! They will lure you in with great rates and say that they will save you lots of money. Our rep was super convincing and made everything sound legit. The terminal is free, you can cancel at anytime if you aren’t seeing the savings, etc.
Then I checked my bank account and they charged me for a terminal that was supposed to be free. When I called the company to inquire about the charges they said that I was locked into a four year contract with them. I had to put holds on my accounts to block them from stealing money from me. I never even took the terminal out of the box. Do not get involved with these scam artists!

Please beware of this company. I was intentionally misled for a quick commission. I would not even listen to what Their sales representative has to say. Fighting them on thousands of dollars.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The first action added thousands of dollars of erroneous charges to my account. Their agent totally misrepresented the terms. They said they were not a third party agent, which is not true. I would never subject my clients to a unknown third party processor. Their agents, Matt and his superior, Chamonix Meredith, presented paperwork that stated they would save me $ 125 a month, then took it away and I never saw it again and now their stated monthly charges not only does not save any money, the charges exceeded their estimates by hundreds of dollars a month.
I was offered a no obligation quote and I stated I am not agreeing to anything and their agent left me with no paperwork and the next day had some other agent representing this company that I did not know drop off paperwork that indicated that I was obligated to thousands of dollars of hidden fees and over $ 10,000.00 of other charges. Their partners, graded «F» by BBB, gave fictitious phone numbers to me and my bank representatives and addresses that did not exist to return their property that I used for five days until the mass of misrepresentation, additional charges and the reality of the thousands of dollars of erroneous fees they charged my came to light.
Working with my bank, I have cancelled my relationship with this business and their partners and am working with a legitimate bank?
