I really don’t know what to say. I’m very sorry about what happened and I hope you reopen soon. The community needs you.

Prayers are easy, as if a god who planned this will siphon the blood from the dance floor back into the bullet wounds they came from if enough of you ask nicely; there are better things you can do with your hands. You know this but yet you continue to barter, shrug your shoulders when you don’t get what you want until a name you know falls out of your mouth and you can’t hear it over the wake of helicopters.

My heart dropped when I heard about the tragedy that occurred in this night club. My heart goes to everybody who was deeply affect by this. This is a day that nobody will ever forget. I imagine that since this is Unilocal,this site likely wants me to share my experience as a customer, not just a tribute. That would be a pleasure for me to do. I was here four years ago when I was on vacation in Orlando. My experience was fantastic, the employees treated me well, and I had a ton of fun.
I had a pleasure of meeting the club owner. I spoke with her for a brief time. She was pleasant to be around. She seemed like a lovely woman, and she seemed to care about here customers a lot. I told her that I was from Minneapolis, and she warmly welcomed me to Orlando. She appeared to be a wonderful role model to the community and her employees.
I would describe this place as pertaining mostly to the younger generation. That is not to say that the older generation like me cannot have fun. There were individuals from various age groups who were there. The place itself seemed to promote a lot of energy from the customers. This came from the lights (some of which were moving around), the loud dance music, and the overall set-​up. There was a lot that one can do in one big room, which included sitting along the table with a drink, dancing on the dance floor, and people-​watch.
The club itself had a lot of positive energy. There was also a great ambiance in the club interior. The numerous colors, mostly being the lights, gave this place a unique vibe. The employees also appeared to have a good eye on cleanliness and order. I did not have many problems with drink spills or previous glasses left by the previous customer. Therefore, I felt comfortable walking in here and having a good time.
The bartenders were friendly and pleasant to be around. They also welcomed me to Orlando. The place was busy; therefore, they did not have much time for small talk. They also appeared knowledgeable of a variety of alcoholic drinks. I cannot remember what I ordered (it was four years ago), but I remember the drinks tasting strong and delicious.
My visit from four years ago is a memory that I will cherish for as long as I live. I will always remember the greatness of this club; yet, I will not forget the tragedy that occurred.

Yet another nice club that doesn’t accept cards for cover. ANNOYING. The drinks are great but priced high. This is one of the most fun clubs I’ve been too.

I absolutely adore this place. Fun, eccentric, unique, and great performances!!! On Tuesday nights. they have are amateur nights. Great patio and great gorgeous people. Entertainment galore and it is an amazing spot! Must visit once for you will always return. Love Love LOVE IT!

Cool Place, Great Atmosphere, Loved the appearance and ambiance. Great People too. :) The Go-​Go Dancer were… not working for me, but they were working for my companion, so well done all the same! Great Bartenders and DJ. With all of that in mind, I don’t know if I just came on a dead night or what, but the place took quite a while to fill up, and even then, it still felt a little empty. Still I would definitely recommend this club to other friends! And I’d definitely come back!

My partner and I were visiting in town from Tampa and were trying to find a nice gay club and all the good reviews that I read from Unilocal helped me decide that this club was it! I was wrong! First, the area that the club is in is run down, we went on a Thursday night, the club advertises on their website that the cover is $ 5 but it was actually $ 10. The inside of the club is really nice. Getting past the miscommunication of cover, the host was quite annoying. The vibe wasn’t «outsider» friendly. Everyone seemed like they knew each other so it felt like a personal party and we just happened to stumble in. My partner went to get a drink and it was supposed to be on special and after paying for the $ 6 drink the bartender caught her before she walked away and said that the special (that was supposed to be all night) «ran out» and she had to pay $ 11 just for a double shot vodka cranberry. On another note, however, The space is nice and clean and the DJ is great. Great music as well.

I am speaking in reference to Latin Night Saturdays.
My sister wanted to take me to my first gay club. I had never been. After 5 years, I finally came out to my family at Christmas 2014.
I enjoyed myself! I can’t dance a lick of Salsa, Merengue, or Bachata but my sister and I gave no cares! We tried but got danced off the dance floor by some people who were ridiculously good! lol It happens. Although I don’t listen to the music genres aforementioned, I grew up in Central Florida hearing this every day so I grew an appreciation for it. What’s the demographics of Central Florida these days… honestly? You get exposed to this type of music and it grows on you, even if you have no clue what’s being said! Thumbs up on Latin music!
They had a small Reggae/​Hip Hop/​Rap session. I’m Jamaican, so I whined my waste off! To the hip hop/​rap, I twerked my ass off! I had a great time.
One thing that I was disappointed about is that there wasn’t any bait. It seemed like people came with partners. :S I mean, I wasn’t trying to get some that night, but it would have been nice if a brotha had options. But then again, I did sway on people as they came too close. (I just like aggression. I wanted someone to be bold enough to grab me. Hell, put me in my place!)
The only negative review I have is that I seriously believe they dilute their liquor. It tasted nasty like tequila, but it wasn’t potent like tequila. I had 4 tequila shots and didn’t even get buzzed! (No I’m not big. I’m 6’5″ and 155 lbs when soaking wet. I should have vomited that night.) Word to the wise: don’t order tequila, or pregame.
Overall, it was a good time. Next time I’m back visiting from CA, I’ll try a Hip Hop/​Rap night.

I like this club. It is smoke free, there is a patio outside where the smokers can go to enjoy themselves. You can now watch the dancers and the show in the smoke-​free environment. The staff is nice and the dancers are pretty good. The worst thing about this club is the parking. There really is no parking and the valet looks like they will not take good care of your car. I washed the valet parker car basically in the street because they ran out of space. My car is too big for that and would prefer not to have to worry about it being hit by a car while I’m in the club. There is street parking but those have a limited amount of spaces. Where is a safe place for me to park my car? Also they do not take credit cards at the front desk it’s cash only to pay for cover.

I can only speak on Saturday nights latin night cause those are the only nights I go. I been here many times last being December 13 cause my birthday was the 14^th and I wanted to celebrate. Overall I had fun but the club needs to make a change. Stop calling it latin night when majority of the night hip hop is being played. I wanted to dance to salsa and merengue so bad but from 12 to 1am was a show and from 1 to 230 was all hip hop music. If ur looking to dance to latin music all night this is not the place! It’s a good club but I won’t be driving to orlando for their Latin nights anymore.

Great club. I have been twice in a week. The first night was on Wednesday, and it was jammed-​packed. The bartender said that Wed are the best nights to dance the night away. They have long islands on special so if you stick to those drinks, the price isn’t too bad. If you drink anything not on special be prepared to spend some money. It’s a great gay bar.
The second time I went was on Latin night which is Satuday. Again this place was packed and full of amazing dancers. People have a great time dancing and drinking. The drink specials are pretty much the same, long islands and coronas are $ 3 til 12. Put on your dancing shoes as you latin dance the night away. Even though this place is gay bar, all people come out and dance on Latin night.
There is no cover before 11 on both Wed and Sat. So get in a little early and buy an extra drink before the crowd shows up. It starts to fill up around 1130-​12, so don’t worry if you show up early when no one is there yet. They also have a drag show at 12.
I’m a huge fan and will be returning for fun nights out. See you there.

I went last night with small group of friends. loved the feel of the place. Music was good. It was really late so parking was problem so used valet parking. The diva show was highlight of night. you go girls.

Really surprised for such a nice club structurally to be so disappointed inside. They show videos but okay different music then the video and when you finally hear a song you like it stops for 5 minutes the starts another song at times was like someone was switching the radio station. This is all after a $ 10 cover and pricey drinks. Do have to say the bartender Ethan I believe his name is was very friendly.

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. I’ve been in Orlando for 2 years and I honestly have to say that out of all the clubs i’ve been to in this city, Pulse was my favorite (even though I don’t remember much). Great drinks, hot boys, hot dancers, good music, and great bartenders. Definitely a fan.

Love the staff, they tend to be very friendly and fun. Drink specials are great, be sure to check the nightly listings because sometimes an hour can make a big difference in your bar tab! Sometimes the music leaves a little to be desired for, but that depends on the night, and is strictly a matter of personal taste.
Very twinky and superficial crowd. Don’t expect to find engaging conversation or a serious relationship there. It’s a place to see, be seen, and find some fun for the night. Don’t expect guys to come up and talk to you unless you are hot/pretty…just not that kind of place. But that doesn’t make it any less fun if you are comfortable with who you are and know that you aren’t going to find a lot of substance there. Great time with a group!

Loved Pulse. Went on a Tuesday night, $ 10 all you can drink wells. The bartender was absolutely lovely, remembered our order the entire night. There was kareoke all night in one room and dancing all night in the other. Not to mention a drag show at 1AM. Really was an amazing night, we can’t wait to go back.

So I’ve probably been about 8 times now, but just recently went on a night that was not my usual Wednesday (College Night). This time we went on a Friday (Hip hop night). The place was so packed! It was definitely a lot of fun. And they really stick to the theme. I couldn’t believe I left a gay bar after a long night without having heard We Found Love. In any case, I loved the music. Ass ass ass ass ass!!!
But I guess this is just a heads up. I think you should definitely check the nightly themes before you go. I personally would not have been happy if I had gone on a Thursday without realizing that that’s country night (and also the only night where they are 21+ instead of 18+, FYI). And I know some of my friends would not have had fun on this particular night we went. It was me, my cousin (we’re Latino), and my white friend, and she was maybe one of 5 white people there the whole night (excluding the staff). A couple people definitely gave her a few looks, but she didn’t care, but I could see people being uncomfortable being a minority when they’re used to being the majority. Just saying.
Another update, the past few times I’ve been, there haven’t been any female dancers. Sad face.
Another update, cover the most recent time I went was $ 8 for under 21, and $ 5 for 21+. I remember there being no cover charge for 21+ last summer, and $ 5 for under 21. Oh well. I’ll calm down and chalk it up to inflation.
Also, one correction to my previous review. I don’t know what I was talking about. Pulse’s drinks are pretty well priced. Or maybe it’s just that I’ve been to New York and back, and now everything seems super cheap. But I think they usually have a special or two, I know Long Islands are usually $ 1 – 2. And even their non-​specials, I got a mixed drink and my friend got a beer, and everything was in the $ 5 – 6 range.
One last thing I’ve noticed. They play music videos on their TVs. But they don’t match up to the music. It’s kind of funny when you’re drunk. But it was a little weird after the initial reaction.

Pulse has always been my fav local spot to go out to when I am in Orlando. The staff is always friendly and the bartenders actually know how to make drinks. The drag shows are always entertaining. The crowd always seems to be different which is a good thing.

Wow. what a club. I went with my boyfriend, and our 2 female friends. It was our 1^st time at this club, and 1^st time for the girls at a gay club.
Amazing night. Great club layout & design. Hot male and female bar dancers! So hot that one of the dancers placed our friend’s drink on his rock hard boner without holding it and she sipped her cocktail from there! hahahaha. She loved it. This club is very friendly to gay, straight, male or females.
It takes a while to get a drink during peak hours because it gets so packed but if you come there earlier in the night, it’s easier for the bartenders to recognize you once you come up to the bar :)
The dance floor has been renovated and opened up. It used to be 2 separate rooms, and now combined to one. So much better.
There’s a nice fenced in outdoor area in the back to smoke or to cool down. And there’s a bar there too.
I dont think there’s enough bathrooms… i saw they tore down the old men’s bathroom (with the one-​way mirrors) from the recent renovations. but i only know there’s a men’s bathroom near the dance bar.
You will need to valet your car if you drive there. It’s mandatory. i think. And at the end of the night, a police officer retrieved our car keys instead of the initial valet people. obviously to check to make sure you’re not intoxicated to drive…
It’s definitely in one of my top 5 gay clubs in the USA. and i’ve traveled everywhere :)
