In 1986 I, founder and president Richard Colón, was first introduced to the world of home entertainment with a 4.0 system which at the time was considered by many top of the line. Curious to know why the need for satellite speakers I visited the store in which it was purchased at and asked why the need. The response: «These are what is new now, new technology. This will help your system sound louder». It was then when I realized that not all of these big home audio store employees knew what they were selling. I took it upon myself to research the information by contacting the company who builds such equipment directly. In 1986 all was done by mail which took weeks for a response, but determine to get the right answer, I waited because I wanted to make sure my system was to do what it was supposed to do, and waited for some time until I finally learned the true significance of the satellite speakers: Surround Sound. I shared this information with my family and friends.
