I’m an advocate for allowing the body to naturally heal itself while it’s provided the tools to do so. Tools that promote health and wellness, not temporary fixes and sickness.
The Salt Room is one of those tools that aides the body in healing itself. With the use of pink Himalayan salt, crystals, lamps, the salt room is a relaxing space where you sit for about 45 minutes for adults & 30 minutes for children, inhaling the salt as it fills the room and your lungs. You are basically going through a gentle detox while you relax, take deep breaths, and enjoy some down time. A combination I take advantage of often.
The lights are dim and the music is soothing, a perfect combination to put some to sleep, read, or listen to music while your body absorbs the healing properties of this magical salt.
Himalayan Salt is filled with minerals that the body needs in order to create a healthy environment. It’s great for people who have respiratory problems such as asthma, allergies, chest congestion. It’s also good for smokers. People who have skin problems such as eczema, and dermatitis. It increases hydration, which I’m also an advocate of. I’m always telling someone to drink more water. It’s what keeps us looking young. There are many more benefits, too much to list here, but when you have time research the benefits of salt rooms. You’ll be amazed.
My youngest son uses a Himalayan Salt inhaler instead of a Nebulizer for his occasional breathing issues caused by asthma. Since we’ve been using this inhaler he hasn’t had to use the nebulizer which uses an asthma medication called albuterol. We’re so glad this alternative works for him.
I found a great deal on Groupon that offered 10 visits for a great price but this location offers some really great packages as well. If this sounds interesting, go for it. In my opinion, you have everything to gain in regards to your health and wellbeing.

I had been very interested in Eastern medical techniques for some time, so I was exited when I was given the opportunity to purchase the promotional package. I was new to fire cupping and acupuncture so I was not sure what to expect. Jason was very short when I had questions and often said «did you read the pamphlet». Once we were in the room he warmed up, but I always felt my questions had very short answers. There were also scheduling issues with the pregnant receptionist. I would ask for a time slot, arrive at that time and told that my appointment was scheduled for an earlier time and that I was late. Jason does NOT take well to late appointments no matter who was at fault. I took a short break before I scheduled my next acupuncture sessions because of projects at work and I received a voice mail that stated «my case haas been transferred…». Despite the rocky start, I was really looking forward to continuing my treatments with Jason. I was truly disappointed that he did not feel the same way.
My husband and I had a fantastic time in the salt room itself. We both suffer from allergies and it was such a revitalizing experience. We felt clear and refreshed after our visit and the effects last for hours.

AMAZING place! Jason and his staff were lovely. They graciously hosted an event for mothers of handicapped children last Saturday for us and the facility, atmosphere, staff and experience were nothing short of BLISSFUL. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed and completely taken care of. I even bought a salt lamp for my brother. The salt room itself was amazing, I had never experienced this type of treatment before and it was quite lovely. We sat in a dim salt room, with relaxing music playing — I could feel the salt working. Everyone was super friendly, calming and very knowledgeable. We plan to be back soon! Thank you so much Jason and staff! :)

Soooooo happy my friend told me about this place. I had a groupon that was purchased for me during the holidays. My seasonal allergies had kicked in full force. Most time zyrtec works but I was miserable for over a week. After one session I felt better, my nasal drip stopped, red eyes, sore throat stopped, and I could finally sleep :)! Definitely a good alternative if you suffer from allergies.

This place was anything BUT serene. We had an appointment today for my family of four and were running 15 mins late. We called on our way and were told that it was fine and that we would still get our full session nonetheless. Upon arriving I confirmed with the receptionist and was told again that we would get our full 30 minute session. We were let in at 3:20 and before we even got through a magazine article were told to leave 10 minutes later!!! We asked about their 2 separate confirmations that we would be able to have the full session and James, who said he is the owner, wouldn’t even apologize and just matter of fact reiterated that they had another family and we had to leave. We had driven 35 minutes to get there both ways for a total driving time of over an hour for 10 minutes. Therefore, needless to say, we will not be returning and I urge anyway considering this place to think again if they do not want the outrageous rudeness and deception that we had to endure.

I’d never heard about salt rooms or the positive impact that receiving salt treatments can have. My friend sandy recommended one of the salt treatments and i really enjoyed it. I felt very refreshed afterwards and look forward to doing it again sometime in the future. This location has other services such as acupuncture and herbal recommendations which are always a plus. After my treatment i went home and researched the science behind the salt rooms and it is quite amazing. I recommend you go yourself and check it out. I definitely enjoyed myself :)

Sucks because I never got to even go here. Was really looking forward to it, too!
I bought some little marketing package from a salesperson for $ 43 which included salt room (45 min) and a Massage. They had to be done on seperate days so I made an appt for Salt room on Friday and Massage on Monday. 30 minutes before my appt on Friday they called and told me they had to cancel. Okay, whatever it happens. Then about 4 hours later they called and told me they’d have to cancel my Monday Appt too. It’s just pretty unprofessional.
I guess you can only have massages done on Wed-​Friday in the afternoon, so if you want anything in the morning or early week-​forget it.
I tried to get my $ 43 dollars back since it’s pretty useless for me now because afternoon doesn’t fit my schedule and the woman (not at The Salt Room, the marketing company they hired) refused to give me any money back. I noticed the charge hadn’t posted to my card yet so I was able to shut the card down to prevent them from taking the money. What a waste of time and inconvienence.

I was very skeptical about whether or not Salt Rooms were a hoax but I witnessed the benefits first hand and loved it! I suffer from seasonal allergies pretty severly and I felt like I could breathe better after just one session. And not just a little better– a WHOLE LOT BETTER!
The place is very clean and serene. One warning though– be careful what you wear because you will be covered in a light layer of salt.
I brought a book with me and just read– it was so relaxing. Most people they say fall asleep and I was close.
I loved this and look forward to going back.
