Skeletons: Animals Unveiled

I had a blast here with my four year old son. He loved the scavenger hunt to find turtles and we really enjoyed reading stories and playing with the puppets together. It was a fun and educational way to spend our morning off together.

I really enjoyed this place! I was worried that it was going to be a bunch of skeletons that you look at without any context. That is certainly not the case!
A lot of time and effort was put into the exhibits that goes far beyond the painstaking process of articulating the skeletons. They have some great signs explaining the exhibits and pointing out some of the interesting things you might miss if you’re just passing through. I learned a lot (for example: the difference between a crocodile and an alligator, the evolution of the human skull, and tons of other cool stuff)!
In addition the employees there were awesome and very knowledgeable! Definitely worth a visit!

My love of skulls and skeletons has been realized! Having purchased the Groupon for their admission, myself, fiancé, and a group of our friends toured their exhibit. It was awesome to see so many animals, including human, skeletons on display. They have them grouped, so you can see just how alike and different each animals is without skin and muscles. The staff is friendly and welcoming; it is great to be around other skull enthusiasts. They invite you to take your time through the exhibit. Everything is clean, well lit, and very well informed. We spent over 2 hours there enjoying the skeletons, taking tons of pictures, and talking with the staff. There is a gift shop that you can purchase gifts or skulls — no admission needed to browse their gift shop. They even have a catalog that you can purchase real or museum replica skulls from, to have shipped to your home. If you are a bone collector of any sort, THIS is the place for you! I would not advise it for people that have young kids that have short attention spans — there aren’t much in the way of hands on, remember this is an exhibit, not a playground. Would be great for Science field-​trips or kids that are interested in being veterinarians.

Tons of skeletons of various animals with good explanations. They are posed hanging from trees, attacking other animals, and the human skeleton is even doing yoga. Great educational experience for ages 3 – 103. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a really fun learning experience. There are skeletons of practically every animal I’ve ever heard of, and some I haven’t heard of. Once we paid for our admission, we were told that we were welcome to take our time and take as many photos as we wanted. All of the skeletons have been donated by zoos and animal shelters. There is also a neat exhibit of live flesh-​eating beetles here. I recommend this place for an entertaining learning experience.

Free to the public section, rear section for ticket holders. Awesome place! Small venue but we’ll designed. They have educational look-​and-​finds to make sure kids get a good learning experience without rushing through, with free small gift at the end if the answers are right. We spent just over two hours there. Definitely worth a visit. Entertaining for ALL ages. Look for groupon discounts.

This was really a good choice if you like dinosaurs and fossils, and museums, we used a Groupon, but I would recommend it even at full price, this was a fun outing for the whole family, all ages can find something fun or interesting here and they had a store with reasonable prices, this was in the Orlando eye complex, with other attractions to do and a small food court, parking was free too,

Great exhibits. The staff is very enthusiastic and love answering questions. The owner Jay is very down to earth and dedicated to making the exhibit a truly memorable experience. Our family had a great time. Plan on a couple of hours to take it all in. Highly recommend.

Much better and bigger than expected. Impressive quality and quantity of exhibits. Very logical progression through all of the exhibits. If you are a anatomy, taxonomy, or nature fan this is a good place for you.

We gave this a place a try because of an amazing Groupon deal (thank goodness because otherwise I would have been upset). I was underwhelmed with the exhibit. Yes, it was clean and had tons of skeletons, but it was just lacking at the same time. It was difficult to keep my 7yr old, who loves anything science related, entertained while here.
The staff was amazing and very friendly! I just wish they had more hands on exhibits to grab the kid’s attention. He did enjoy seeing the beetles.
We spent about an 1.5hrs here. It just felt pricey for the amount of time that can be spent here.

Had a blast at skeletons… everything about the museum was great… the staff very friendly and very outgoing… gift shop was very interactive and everything was reasonably priced. did I mention free wifi!!! best part they had a Father’s Day special today free for dads with a purchase of an adult… that was an added bonus!!! will definitely be recommending this place to friend and family…

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!
My husband and I took my 11 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter. Our whole family was totally GEEKING out. They have some of the coolest skeletons. The way they arrange them is awesome. They have a monkey hanging from a tree by it’s tail, so you can see all the bones in it’s tail. They also have a really great video showing the process of how they clean the bones. When we were walking around they were still adding skeletons to the display cases. Several of the employees stopped their work to chat with my 2 children. Most of the time when we go somewhere my kids ask lots of detailed questions. A lot of the time you can see that some people are annoyed by their questions. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER was so kind and talked at length with my children. One person looked so familiar to me and by the end of the visit I realized that we had been talking to the owner, Jay Villemarette, who I recognized from an episode of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. I think that this would make a GREAT school field trip. My children have all ready asked to go again. There are so many skeletons that I don’t think we got to appreciate them all. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Mr. Villemarette, Adam, Eddie, John and Ashley, they all took the time to patiently answer all my childrens questions and frequently came back and asked if they had anymore questions. Mr. Villemarette also kept coming back and quizzing my children on animals and all sorts of bones. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

We were skeptic to come here, but for the price ($ 24 for two with Groupon), we gave it a shot. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the displays. I really enjoyed reading the history. A lot of time and effort was put in to this museum!
This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. I thought we were just going to walkthrough, in-​n-​out in 5 minutes, but I was happy to be wrong.
The collection was quite impressive. I think my favorites were the elephants. I really learned a lot! Super glad we decided to go in and look around! If you want something self-​paced in Orlando, and you want to skip the crowds, this is a good place to go, and it won’t break the bank!

We had dinner at the Yard House at the new Orlando Eye on International Drive near Universal Studios. After dinner we checked out the campus there and found this attraction. 450 skeletons. Wow. Really cool. It was really fun and educational. Our whole group of 3 really enjoyed our time. I think we spent 2 hours or so walking around.
If you are planning on checking out the Orlando Eye, or eating at one of the restaurants on International, do yourself a favor and check out this unique attraction. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the most amazing place ever. Everyone young and old will love this museum. I can’t wait to take my grandchildren.
