Skyebird is a locally owned and operated juice bar and experimental kitchen that uses the best mix of local and organic produce to make fresh juices, smoothies, house brewed Kombucha and a full raw food menu. Skyebird’s goal is to provide a healthy alternative to support a variety of nutrition and lifestyle based diets. The term ‘experimental’ refers to their approach to food, which brings a constantly evolving menu as they work with new seasonal ingredients, equipment and processes to challenge themeselves and their customers’ appetites. Skyebird will serve a vegetarian & vegan friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner.
History
Established in 2012.
Skyebird was born from the desire to immerse ourselves, family, friends and community in a nutrition based lifestyle rooted in the style and values from our childhood and family history.
The concept started out as simply a juice bar with a name and logo inspired by our daughter. As the concept has developed it has grown into much more than we anticipated through the help of friends, farmers, local business owners, continuous study and lots of experimentation.
We spent the better part of a year traveling, experimenting in our kitchen, hosting dinners and serving at local markets to explore ingredients, recipes and processes which helped immensely to shape our approach and of course our menu.
We will be opening this summer in our first permanent location at the East End Market in Orlando Florida.
