Sum Of All Thrills

I can’t ride these type of rides. But, my grandchild lives for this one. Every time I take her to Epcot we must stop and she goes on this very unique ride. She loves the notion that she is the designer of her special ride and is new each time.

What the heck? Why didn’t I know this existed? I get to design my own coaster? I get to put it together in 4 minutes, and then I get to ride it through an awesome coaster? YES PLEASE!
I was pretty much able to walk right into the group, see the video, and then go to the coding. You can spend up to 4 minutes of designing your own ride and when done, take your card and give it to the ride ops, who will put it into their computers, Set you into the motion ride and you’re off.
It’s short, yes, but it’s unique. You can do something different each time. It may just spark a love for math and science in someone. And THAT. That is impressive.

First of all, I am a wuss when it comes to roller coasters. This is far from a thrill and it is definitely far from a roller coaster, even for a wuss like me. With that being said, there is always a long wait here and there is no fast pass access. Half of the robotic arms were broken; this created a much longer wait.
I decided to do the jet right as I was told that would be the fastest. I designed it and I did everything without loops but fast. I got on it and I did the ride; as you know it’s a virtual ride. It was definitely nothing out of this world and definitely not realistic enough. It was like being in a video game and the graphics were pretty poor in my opinion.
All in all, it is not as fun as mission space or any of the other rides at Epcot. You are better off at Mission space or test track if you want some sort of a thrill ride.

Really innovative and kool for kids of all ages! This is located in the innovations lab in Epcot there’s usually a line but it goes fast!
You design your own roller coaster and they have 3 different varieties of intensity!
We went for the jet which is the most intense and created our own roller coaster with loops, turns and tornados! And as you swipe your card into the machine your card get located!
The ride usually last 2 – 3 mins but it’s worth it very different

This was unexpectedly awesome and something I would love to ride again and again.
First, it is inside Innovations, which means it is a reasonable temperature to wait in. It also means that if it is raining, you don’t have to worry about getting wet. Serious perk.
Second, the line moves pretty quickly.
Basically, you (and your partner) design your ride using some interactive drafting board. You set the layout, the color, the speed and the braking. You test it with a little character who ensures you won’t die. You load your ride onto a card and you take it to an attendant. They help you into a simulator (yes it is a simulator) and load your ride. We had a blast, and the best part is there is a camera in your partner’s simulator mask too so you can see their expressions as they ride your creation.
You can take the card with you and explore the ride and other stuff when you leave the park at their special website.

This ride isn’t one of the large multi-​million dollar ones, but it’s still really cool! It’s OK to skip, but if have a some downtime and are interested in engineering and roller coasters, be sure to stop by!
It’s pretty fun even if you’re an adult; you basically get to design your own amusement park ride and than simulate it based on the design you created.
I have to say that writing this in January being back in Buffalo, I’m nostalgic for the entire Disney experience. Hopefully I can go back soon :).

Really cool attraction where you design a roller coaster ride and then ride it! I was wondering how it would seem like a «real» coaster when done, but they did a great job of it.

It’s education and a ride, which is basically the point of most everything at Epcot. This experience is definitely worth the wait. You wait in line, watch a video on designing, engineering, etc. a roller coaster, proceed to a station to design your very own roller coaster, and then get into a simulator and ride what you designed. So cool! I enjoyed playing around with the tools to create my own unique ride. And then getting to ride what I had designed was a huge bonus. You have to be over a certain height to design an inverted coaster. And yes, the simulator will actually simulate inverting you. A fun and educational experience — don’t miss it!

Neat Concept. Design a ride (based upon the age of your partner) I had my 7 yr old daughter with so you’re limited. But we choose the fastest, highest setting we could. We did not go upside down but still went fast. We shook from left to right and up and down. The track itself on the screen is not the best technology but it gets the job done.
