The Container Store

While they have a lot of containers their containers are pretty cheaply made and just not what I was expecting. They have a lot of nice office supplies though and a pretty good kitchen section but a lot of their things are over priced and you could buy them on Amazon for less.
The employees are willing to help and nice, and the store is also very nicely organized. I was surprised at the size of this store but was also surprised that they lacked a variety of containers. I was looking for something with a latch that didn’t look thin or have a broken latch. A lot of the latches on the containers were broken or didn’t close properly. Everything just seemed badly made.

This was my first time here and I had heard a lot of people were re doing their closest a with items they bought here. I’m always hearing about this place on YouTube. So on my way to ikea I stopped in to see what it was all about. Well I am no organizer by any means so I felt very over whelmed at the amount of organizing you could accomplish at this store. Boxes, buns, drawers of all different colors shapes and sizes. Even had little itty bitty container you could maybe fit one Lego brick into. I mean itty bitty. A whole wall was filled with these things in about 5 different colors. Some things were very pricey and others were more affordable. I just wish I had someone who could tell me what to buy and how to make it work. If you are an organizer this place would be heaven. The store is like dead quiet though. We went in with our two kids and I felt like I could hear a pen drop. My son was too giggly for this place.

I never know where to start looking when I go to the container store as there are so many enticing displays and colorful items! I always joke that the Container Store has a container for EVERYTHING, even your socks, but this is true!
This Container Store is greatly placed near the Mall at Milenia and other shopping sites and with their high prices, they fit right in. In early November, they already had holiday items and so many unique stocking stuffers for the hard-​to-​buy for gift recipient. They also now provide a service where someone will come to your home to 1) help you figure out which type of California (they have another name for it at the Container Store, but it escapes me) closet will best fit your needs and/​or 2) help you figure out which containers your home would most benefit from.
Although there are an abundance of containers, there were not an abundance of employees to assist you and I think that this might cost them some sales as I overheard at least two customers speaking to their shopping companions about wanting to find employee to ask a question about an item, but then noted, «Never mind (about the item),» when it was evident that there were no employees nearby.

Please get me out of here before I buy another item specific organizer… seriously get me out of here! I love the container store. I don’t know why I need a container to hold every specific thing I own. If you have something and you don’t know how to store it, then the container store is ready for you.
Checked out this location recently to buy a deviled egg carrier. I actually specifically came to the store just to buy that item (called an egg-​tainer). I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can check online for items to see if they are available in store. The container store has so many storage options for every area of your residence-​kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, closet, toys, etc. It’s easy to get lost in the aisles imagining how organized you’ll be if you buy every last one of these items. I wish it really worked like that, but it doesn’t. Somehow just buying these containers makes you feel better and more organized by association.
I have to say, that I was really impressed by the storage for bath and beauty items. They have great organizers for accessories and cosmetics that you cannot find another places. I’ll definitely come back and buy more things next time I’m feeling a little disorganized.

If you are into organization, I mean REALLY into organization then do I have a place for you to go.
Walk in and the place is so clean (it makes sense considering what they sell) and the staff are all really friendly so it’s a pleasant experience to come here.
Hangers, shoe racks, organizers, boxes, cubbies and anything and everything you can think of you can find here. It’s a fun place to come if you are into this stuff, but if you’re not it can get boring really pretty quick. My suggestion is to keep kids and those in the family who aren’t into this stuff out of here if you are. My wife loves this place and could spend an hour here browsing and marveling at the inventive things that they have, while people who don’t care will be bored to tears by it.

I didn’t know how disorganized I was until I walked into this store. I wanted to buy all the organization things. While in the store I started fantasizing about reorganizing my kitchen and closets. Luckily after I while I snapped out of it and left with only a couple of things — bottle packaging for travel and a nice new lunchbox.
I can really see the appeal and if I do get motivated to do an organization project I will be back.

If you’re entering this store you’re going for a particular purpose. This isn’t somewhere I come a lot & it is pretty pricey but I needed a certain size silverware organizer which I found & ended up needing to return. The return policy is easy & staff is friendly. In main Millenia area so can get busy.

Oh my, this store… MY OCD is already out of control; this feeds into it so bad!!!
First off, their POPrewards program is totally free and you get emails all the time about the deals in store. Lately, they’re been running great deals where if you spend a certain amount ($ 100, $ 500, etc) they will give you a gift card to come back the next month and spend more money! Because you know every time you leave the store, go home to set up your new organizational stuff, you find you need something else. First world problems!
I have purchased all sorts of things here: spice organizer for my kitchen, shoe and purse storage for my closet, and all sorts of travel accessories for my upcoming trip to Europe. I have found every associate to be extremely knowledgeable about both the layout of the store and various products offered, as well as custom-​tailoring any needs to the perfect supplies. I always feel confident that I can walk in and get exactly what I need. I have also used their store pickup feature through their website, and since they had it in stock, I was allowed to come in early and have my product waiting for me. I can’t say enough good things about this store. Well done, container store!!!

The best thing about the container store is the pure organization of it all. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to organize and create innovative ways to make my life easier. This store does that easily.
They start with a very modern look and theme about their store. Making it very easy to get around the store, see what’s there as well as see how you could fit your life in it (Which is probably the most important part!).
Knowledgeable staff who seem to really care about making sure their shelves are stocked in the right places. They are very aware of what they have as well. I went in to find a couple things for home office space and they knew exactly what I needed. They were able to get it for me and tell me about upcoming items coming in the future.

That was my first thoughts when I walked into this store. I was in love haha I’m a huge fan of organization and compartments and things of that nature. I guess it’s the slightly OCD thing about me.
I could’ve spent my entire bank account here haha but I was able to refrain, thankfully. But man, this place has everything!!! Go go go!

DSW is my liquor store and The Container Store is my candy store.
Was in the need of some new hangers for a organization project I’ve been undertaking. And after scouring the blogs, several mentioned the Basic Wood Hangers you could find at Container Store. For as much as I love walking through stores like this, you would think my life would be a little more organized. :-/​
I was easily able to find the hangers I was looking for and be on my way. They were out of one style that I wanted, but the associate that noticed I was snapping up hangers said she’d be happy to check in the back. She couldn’t find any even though their inventory said they had one, but she did say they would have more that coming Friday. The staff was friendly and while they did only have a few registers open for checking out, they hadn’t been open that long and their day was really just getting started.
I’ve been in three Container Stores in a span of 10 days. Yes, I know I have a problem. And this was probably my least favorite. But it’s not a bad store at all. It’s relatively easy to get in; exiting isn’t as easy but it’s not difficult. Comparing stores, which I can’t help but do, it’s just not my favorite. However, it is the closest option, so I’m sure I will learn to love it.
P. S. For all the other organization nerds like myself, they do have a new loyalty rewards program. Sign up is easy peasy when you’re at the register.

I absolutely love this store. If you have it they can show you how to organize or contain it. The staff here is helpful and friendly.

I’m surprised at the few people who don’t seem to like this store. From what I’ve seen, this store is a dream come true for me, a self proclaimed neat freak. It’s nothing short of heaven!
The cleanliness and organization of this store are a testament of things to come. The multitude of clip boxes, shelving units, kitchen knickknacks, and overall organizational tools is almost overwhelming. Overwhelmingly amazing that is! If you are looking for something for your home, kitchen, or bathroom you are sure to find it here.
The customer service in this store is also quite nice. No one was seemingly snotty and they all seemed to be ready to help. We got two people asking us if everything was alright and if we found everything we wanted. Yep and yep!
I would also like to comment on the prices of this store. Are they Target prices? Well, no. This is indeed a specialty store. Are they as crazy high as some other reviewers were mentioning? Definitely not. They seem to be a nice middle ground. Also, I came during their sale and let me tell you was that a neat surprise!
All in all, if you are in the Orlando area make a trip over here! It’s a nice and actually fun shopping experience!

This store has every possible container and storage for your house and the prices are not that bad at all. If I could have the entire store in my house I would be the happiest person in the world! Lots of designs and endless possibilities of what you can put in container or in storage. My new favorite store!

Stopped in for the first time recently while in the area. It was a Monday morning so there were no other customers and I had the store to myself. My mission was to purchase a jewelry organizer that I had seen on a friend’s Instagram. The store is a bit overwhelming when you walk in but easy to figure out once you stop and take a look at the signage on the aisles.
Found what I was looking for and ventured around. Picked out a laundry sorter. Only chintzy thing is they they sell the bags separately. Certain ones were for sale so I purchased those.
A sales associate then came over to greet me and was very helpful. She gave me a catalog and told me to make sure to check out the back aisles of marked down merchandise.
I would definitely come back again when I have more time. Definitely come here with a list so you don’t go nuts buying everything you think you may need! :)

I was expecting great things when I walked in here, but I was a bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, they had a lot of great things and you can probably find everything you need relating to storage in this one store, which makes things pretty convenient, but the prices are probably twice what you would pay at a Target, Michael’s or Bed, Bath & Beyond.
I think I would only return if I couldn’t find what I was looking for at a store where prices are cheaper. The store is very spacious and well set up though, making things easy to locate.

I have heard of the Container Store from friends about how wonderful it was but I have to remember that these recommendations were from friends who are super anal about organizing. Yes… they have tons of containers, boxes, files, trash bins, etc to help you organize your life and home but its almost too much to take in… too many choices… and way too expensive.
I went in a few weeks after they had opened on a weekday afternoon. It was busy but not packed like I had seen it when I drove by during the first few weeks. There was plenty of staff to help. I was approached a number of times during my hour in the store and was asked if I needed help. The conversations always seemed to end up with trying to convince me that I needed to buy a new closet system. I guess they really like to push those things.
I took my time and walked up and down all the isles. There were many different types of solutions for my home. Each one was better than the next… but what shocked me most was the prices. Everything in my opinion was about two thirds more expensive than any other place selling the same type of storage solutions. Not sure I would spend $ 120 on a laundry basket. But I did find some fun things I would want for my home that I had not seen any place else. If I had bought those 4 items, I would have spent a little over $ 100. I would love to know what their average sale is like. I was also blown away by the prices of the closet systems. $ 4000 for a 10′ system? The Container store is nice but just too expensive for me.
I know that there is a market for these items and some people will spend the money to buy them all but I cant afford them. Granted, the big blue and yellow store across the street does not have the variety The Container Store has, but at least they can solve my needs at a price I can afford.
Atmosphere = 10 (beautiful store!)
Staff = 8 (very helpful yet slightly pushy)
Products = 8 (mostly good quality but too expensive to get a 10)
All in all, this is a beautiful store and they have amazing products but I guess I just can’t ‘love it’ because of the prices. If I do shop there, it will only be when there is a sale. Enjoy!

So I had big expectations when I heard this spot was arriving! I haven’t been to one in quite a while and I remember great things. Well, it’s gorgeous, clean and very organized — that’s a huge plus!
Overall though, I wasn’t blown away. I really had a strong desire to leave and go clean my house, ha! I think I just dig Ikea more. Seems like they have most of the items and at a cheaper price. I do appreciate what they are going for though.
We were not greeted at the door and with as many employees that were working, no one even talked to us. Yes, we were there when there was a good amount of people but it was no where near packed or over crowded. I just expected them to be more hands on, asking questions etc.
We ended up buying something small and the woman who checked us out was pleasant. I did appreciate the different sections: closet, office, kitchen etc. And I really liked the shoe organization options, nice!
I will definitely be back but I am not as ecstatic as everyone else that it has arrived.

This is what I imagine heaven to be like. There are containers for everything. You need a container for another container, right this way. Seriously, this place is amazing.
I was able to go to a preview of the store and got a tour of all the aisles and saw everything that the store has to offer. I’m kind of scared to go back because I know I’ll leave broke — but hey! My house will look better! :)

Friendly and, of course, well-​organized. If you have a storage need, you will find a storage solution here. And the staff will go out of their way to present you with options.
I went in on a Monday night to find shelving for a small, awkward closet. An hour later, I was sitting at the curb, waiting for them to bring out my shelving components, which I chose via computer to make sure they would work in my space.
Not all of the options are cheap. But there are several different price points available, which is useful for those on a budget. I splurged on drawer organizers to further store my stuff in an easy to access fashion.
The store is bright and the aisles are wide and easy to navigate. The staff is actually helpful. I can’t wait to go back when it’s time to organize another closet.
