The Estates at Maitland Summit

Let me start off by saying that this apartment complex is BEAUTIFUL!!! I really like it here and the pictures don’t do this place any justice BUT I hate the parking here they only have about 30+ visitor parking spots on only one side of the complex and they only give the residents one parking spot and to get a garage is an extra $ 100+ more every month added onto the rent. So if you have more than one car you should get a garage or have to deal with parking outside of the apartment complex. I live with my husband and we hate coming home and having to try to find parking every day after work. Usually at 5pm all of the parking spots are filed and then if you do find a spot you feel trapped because if you leave you more than likely won’t have a spot to come back to because they are all full. I hate that I feel like I can’t come and go as I please because I know there won’t be any spots available. Whoever gets our spot first keeps it and then the other has to park in the street. He usually lets me keep our spot and he parks outside of the complex but I had to deal with this today and I’m pissed we pay all of this money and One of us always has to park outside of the apartment complex. Ughhh it is frustrating but it is beautiful and the ppl are VERY nice but we plan on moving to a bigger apartment without the stress of a parking situation.

Lived here for about a year. Super convenient to downtown. Extremely reasonable rent. Very quiet. Seems to be a young professionals area — I think many people who work in the Maitland office parks across the street live here. Also close to Chickfila, which is great :) I would recommend to get an apartment with a garage, that way you have the garage space, and an additional space in front of the garage.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the layout — when driving through the complex, the buidlings are so close and you feel kind of claustrophobic… it also makes it feel kind of «cold», as opposed to having nice green spaces/​landscaping. Not that anything can be done about this, but just wanted to point it out.
Overall, I have no complaints about Estates at Maitland Summit and would recommend living here. Not sure if Terry still works at the front office, but he was WONDERFUL and so extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better property manager.
