I love The Tabloid. The staff is friendly, the décor is fun. I’ve never had to wait for my haircut prior to my appointment, which is only disappointing because they’ve got so many neat toys and interesting books in the sitting area.
The price is excellent– cheaper than many places I went before finding Tabloid, and the haircut is hands-​down the best I’ve gotten in town.
I love the hot towel and head massage at the end. They’ve got a clever name for it, but the only thing that comes to mind is «The Happy Ending.» That’s not it, and that’s probably going to give someone the wrong idea. If you ask someone with multiple razors within reach for a happy ending, you’ll probably get what you deserve, anyway.
They’re relocating sometime in early 2010, so check the location before you go. I can’t recommend this place enough. Stop screwing around and get your hair cut here.

Visit Tom Castiglia and the folks at the Tabloid. The atmosphere is rockabilly — fusion with a little Tiki bar thrown in. They are serious about hair and their prices seem reasonable (especially for how good you look when they’re done with you).
