History
Established in 2013.
Our «Legacy of Love» ~ Renae Peterson, our founder and CEO, was inspired to start a home care agency when she was facing the challenges and rewards of caring for an aging loved one — her mother, Melvina Peterson.
In 1997, Ms. Peterson started Touching Hearts at Home in Mineappolis, MN and by 2007, the business was doing so well, Touching Hearts began franchising and we now have over 40 in the US.
Our franchise serves clients in Orange, Osceola, Polk, and Seminole counties. The owners, Terri White and Sonya Weathers, are devoted to changing the way we age, by providing services that allow senior to «age in place», i.e. remain in their homes and as independent as possible. Our person-centered care provides the physical, emotional, and spiritual support that everyone deserves.
We provide FREE, no obligation consultations and our caregivers are thoroughly screened, trained, insured, and bonded. Most importantly, we only hire caregivers with a heart for serving!

Business Owner
Terri White is a college graduate of Business from Brevard Community College as well as from University of Central Florida. After 12 years working at Walt Disney World she started her own Video Production business, Bruno White Entertainment, in 1996. This company still maintains contracts with Disney and the US government. After 30 years working in the video production field Terri transitioned into the more philanthropic world of senior care. After many months of research, she decided to buy into a franchise called Touching Hearts at Home. She is in her second year of operation and hopes to grow the business with a service level that can be maintained at their current high standard.
