Walmart Tire & Lube Express

Horrible service. Came in for a new tire and stood at the counter in front of the employee for 5 minutes before he even acknowledged me being there. Then he said to go move our car into one of the service lanes and come back. So I did and when I came back he left for another ten minutes before coming back to help me. When he finally went outside to my car he wrote us up and checked us in only to realize he might not even have the tire I wanted. So he said let him go back in and check. After another ten minutes he came back and said they didn’t have it. I wasted 45 minutes of my life here for nothing.

If you’re in a hurry try a different place. Although the people here are friendly and nice, they take their time. One gentleman helped me with my tire the first time I came in and he remembers me when I come in with a coworker or for my oil change. You can leave your car there and shop or have someone pick you up. They will call you when they’re done.

Car stuff is a necessity in life apparently. So this is how the story goes… pretty much the front two tires were bald, so I needed to get them replaced desperately. So I decided to call around and compare prices, and Walmart Tire & Lube Express had the cheapest prices. I saved over 150.00 dollars. My tires ended up being 60.00 dollars per tire, for new tires might I add. I also added the ultimate bonus of lifetime for rotation for an extra 20.00 dollars. I decided to replace my tires around 7:45 a.m. on a Wednesday Morning. Emilio was very friendly and provided excellent customer service, he did a great job of explaining what I needed for my car, and the prices what I needed and did not need. In the past I have had experiences where you feel like the company is trying to break your pocketbook. This was not the case in this scenario at all, in fact I felt very comfortable and appreciated as a customer. The transaction was very smooth.
I am not going to lie, I definitely did not have high expectations going in because this particular Walmart does not have the reputation of good customer service, and sometimes the waiting time is known to be an excruciating painful process. So the fact that my tires were done in approximately 45 minutes, and everyone was super friendly. I was proven wrong, I love that in an instance like this I was wrong. The early bird in this case definitely got the worm. Oh and during the 45 minute wait I was able to go to the craft section and score some pretty good paints for awesome prices.
Overall, my experience was positive and in the process I saved a ton of money. This is what I consider a win win situation. Now I have a place where I can go to address the car stuff in my life. My car is running great and that’s all a girl can ask for.
