FREE Voluntary Pre-​Kindergarten Program for four year old children.

Offering a quality preschool education to children ages 6 weeks through pre-​kindergarten (up to 12 years old during school breaks & summer). All classrooms use research based curriculum that helps children develop both socially and academically. Our teaching methods are play-​based, so children have fun while learning.

History

Established in 2001.

The Westgate Children’s Learning & Development Center was opened by David A. Siegel, President and Founder of Westgate Resorts, to provide a quality preschool environment for his employee’s children. Mr. Siegel opened the Center to the community because of his desire to allow other children the opportunity to attend this top-​rated learning center.

Today, the learning center is ranked as a model VPK provider and is involved in many pilot projects that are helping to develop Florida’s new early childhood quality rating scale.

Manager

Billinda Boldt, Director of Early Childhood, has overseen Westgate Children’s Learning & Development Center since 2002. She is the mother of 4 children and shares the parents’ perspective. Billinda is passionate about early childhood issues and offering parents the re-​assurance that they have chosen the best program for their child.
