These folks are really nice! Great selection if games and graphic novels!
They have a good selection of games such as Munchkin and King of Tokyo (both great modern games).
But perhaps the best reason to visit is their HeroClix selection. They have lots of booster packs on sale for $ 2 and Booster 5-​packs for $ 10. In addition, they have lots of opened figures for sale, so you can ask for characters you want and know you’ll get them, most of the time. I easily picked up a Dr Doom, Colossus, Juggernaut and Batman doing this.
The owner was also generous by giving me a couple extra maps and artifacts with my purchases.
I’m from California, but anytime I’m in Daytona, I’ll be buying my gaming stuff from this shop!!!

Cloak & Dagger has been around for such a long time. I’ve been coming here since the very early 90’s which was right before the comic card boom happened. They always had tons of card packs, but not too many singles. Louie’s Baseball Cards was always the place to go for singles or hard to find hologram cards. They were in the same plaza as Hungry Howie’s on Ridgewood in Holly Hill. Across the way from Seven Eleven. Louie was a jerk though so my parents didn’t like bringing me there.
But if there was card set still in print, from Marvel Masterpiece and Fleer Flair to the not so popular Boris and WildC.A.T.S. long chromium cards and everything in between, then C&D certainly had a few packs for sale. They also had plenty of full sets for sale but where’s the fun in that? Though it would have cut down on the mountain of check lists I gathered over the years.
Spawn was the next big thing to hit the comic world when cards started dying down. The best memory I have of this store was walking in after seeing the Spawn movie on the first day it was in the theaters and finding two huge boxes of loose Spawn action figures for half the price they were in the stores. Between my two friends and I, we bought over a dozen of those bad boys that day.
Star Wars: Power Of The Force blew up all comic shops after that. Unfortunately for them there was another comic shop right over the bridge called Final Frontier. They had the absolute best selection and prices of those figures for quite some time. They were always rotating their stock too. C&D had a lot less of the newer ones and it always seemed to be the same characters.
Over the years they’ve always had the biggest selection of newly released comics and still do to this day. None of them are bagged and boarded, but I don’t think any shop anywhere does that. So I can’t hold that against them. Plus, even though Louie’s and Final Frontier were miles better, C&D was the only store to survive after those both faded away a long time ago.
Not too sure what the full story with this is, but within the last decade they changed to Coliseum of Comics and as of a couple years ago have changed back to C&D. During their name/​business change, their supply of trade paperbacks was very large. Three five foot tall book shelves filled from top to bottom and back to back. They even had some for half off next to their dollar comic bins.
The store has slowly become an all out gaming ground for Magic and Warhammer card players. After the recent move from Daytona back to Ormond, they changed the layout of their store to a bunch of tables for gaming with some comics, trade paperbacks and a handful of DC and Marvel action figures on the surrounding walls. The rest is all card and board game equipment. They deserve all the credit in the world for being able to survive all the fads over the decades. But there’s nothing exciting here anymore.
