History

Established in 1988.

Darin and Barbie Johnson started the business with their Grandma «J» in 1988. They wanted to serve good breakfast fast and all day. Biscuits and Gravy, Homefries cooked and sliced daily are some of the specialties. For lunch we serve some great Burgers with daily specials.

Rude owner. Got upset with me because I pulled out 68 cents out for exact change. Told me to hurry up he had customers to wait on. Was I not a customer? Wont go back again.

My fiancé and I stopped by to get something to eat around 12:30pm on a Sunday, when we arrived the waitress asked us to hurry up and order because they were closing soon, we felt bad and checked their website where it said they were opened until 1:30pm, we showed the waitress and she still argued with us. She walked away and didn’t serve us. So keep in mind if you go here, they are open until whenever the waitress makes up that day, great way to keep local business.

In town for a basketball tournament and found this gem! Great food. atmosphere comfortable and modern. staff very friendly. Oh and the prices. really reasonable! Not sure if we will ever be back in Orrville again. but if we are Mrs. J’s diner will be a place we stop at.
