Established in 1985.

The Inn at Grand Glaize is an independently owned Resort & Convention Center located right on the water in Osage Beach, MO. We have 153 guest rooms and over 16,000sq feet of flexible convention space, along with an on site full service restaurant & banquet catering facility. The term «Glaize» is an abbreviation of «Auglaize». Auglaize is the name of the stream which ran where the lake is now the Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.

The last full renovation was completed in 2014 which completely changed both the interior and exterior of the resort from carpeting to furniture in every area of the hotel. Over $ 2 Million has been completed so far in renovations.

Do not set foot on this property unless you are blind stinking drunk. Only then will you be able to handle how gross and disgusting this place actually is.

Came as a large group and we were promised 2 beds per room and were given 1 bed and a pull out couch when confronted by management they informed us that a pull out couch was technically a bed absolutely ridiculous. The hotel is dirty smells like cigarettes and has bugs everywhere do not stay here.

This place is nasty!!! Everything was fine till we woke itchy at 7 am to a bed full of bugs!!! There were dried blood stains on the sheets from previous washes. The management seem like they were not surprised. He asked“how do you know?” so we showed him the 3 photos we took and the two videos of live bugs crawling on the bed!!! He gave his number and asked me to send them! Also asked what we wanted to do about it? Like he had no idea what he was doing! So gross…

Wish I had a better experience at this hotel. At first, it looked fine and the room looked good. Then, the heater kicked on. Smelled like rotting botanical crap, like the heating and air conditioner had not been cleaned in a while. Then, the internet started going in and out. Not reliable. To top my experience off, no water in the morning to shower. The desk clerk had nothing but excuses for each, and did not offer an apology for any of it. I then wrote the general manager about my experience. Again, nothing. I should not have to pay for a room that I could not shower in! I can over look a smelly heater and spotty internet. But I needed to shower that morning.

Our experience here was not good. Had to haggle about the price when checking in and if you don’t do this you will pay too much. Best advice do not stay here. Our room had half eaten chips on the floor from a prior guest — yuck. Our view was a back of the run down building, our shower was a dribble, mold on the shower curtain and the lamp shade was filthy with holes in it. This place is very dated and it is not safe the outlet behind our bed was coming out of the wall. They gave the lobby a bit of a face lift and slapped some paint on the walls in the rooms. This place needs serious help.

Completely unacceptable. Non smoking room smells like cigarettes, dirty (really dirty!), pool is green, tv is out, rude staff. NEVER, NEVER STAY HERE!

I seriously do not know how this place is still running. My next complaint will be to the health department. Absolutely disgusting!!! dead bugs everywhere cobwebs where u wouldn’t think cobwebs would actually be. I mean filthy! The paint on the walls is peeling off everywhere. Mold all over the bathroom. Completely not worth the price they were charging. I would pay 10 dollars for this room. Smells like mold and cigarettes all in one!!! DO NOT stay here u less u want to wake up with bites all over you. When I complained the first thing he said was at least they are dead bugs right and laughed. However They actually refunded us a full amount after some back and fourth because we stayed there a total of ten minutes and weren’t having it. I wish I read the reviews before we drove and hr.

Hotel smells like mold. They put us in a smoking room when we asked for a non-​smoking room. No other rooms are available. We can’t shower because the shower water (and even the sink water) is dark brown. Screen door to the balcony is broken. Staff is very friendly but utterly useless. For the love of God, don’t stay here.
We are cutting our trip short because we can’t stay here another minute. I doubt they’ll refund our last night, but I’m not even sure I care. I just need to get out of here…

Nice hotel. Didn’t stay there, but did eat breakfast there. The French toast was great, but the eggs weren’t cooked all the way through. Our waiter was OK, not excellent. We went back for dinner since it was a Saturday night and everywhere seemed to be packed. Took us over an hour to even get a waiter, so we ended up leaving. The hotel does need extreme updating, but the inside seemed ok — nothing like the Ritz or anything. However, I would NOT recommend the watercraft rentals that are there. Huge ripoff, and the owners look like they were in a crappy adult movie.

If you are looking for a party hotel than this would be the place but for families or a romantic get away it’s an absolute no. The popcorn on the ceilings in the rooms is literally falling down around you. There were wasps nests all over the «deck with lake view» which is more a view of the trees that haven’t been maintained so they block any decent view. The wait staff in the restaurant is a joke. Our waitress spilled ice from the water pitcher when pouring it and instead of picking it up she kicked it across the dining room! There were drunk college kids everywhere verbalizing obscenities as well as displaying them in marker on their backs and chests. The staff just laughed instead of asking them to cover it up or wash it off. The rooms were sort of clean but this place needs a total overhaul. It needs updating not just a (bad) paint job. There were very limited channels on the TV and no movie channels or PPV movies at all. The food is mediocre at best if u like shards of bone in your steak and more flies than guests. So if your just looking for a place to pass out after getting drunk on the lake than this is definitely the place to go because you will never notice your filthy surroundings. Otherwise please stay clear of this nightmare.

Pros– We couldn’t beat the price! The rooms were cozy and there is a pool and a restaurant on-​site. Boat rentals are available down by the water. You can tell that this place was quite the sight in its hay-​day. The views of the water were pretty. It is close to many activities and there was ample parking. The staff was all really nice and we feel like we would be welcome there again.
Cons– I wish I could give a 3.5 though but the 3 was too low. The décor was a little outdated and the cable tv selection could have some improvements. For families– they don’t have Nickelodeon but they do have Cartoon Network. The house-​keeping came very early in the day, but they were slow so they probably didn’t have anything else to do.
