History

Established in 1997.

Four brothers started the business in 1997 with the same manager as of today. We make our own pizza sauce, sausage and crusts daily. We have home-​made appetizers along with great sandwiches, burgers & wraps. There is a game room for the kids. A party room that accomodates up to 45 people. A full service bar and a deck for warm weather dining. On the corner of 5th & Ohio St. on the south side of Oshkosh, over the bridge from University of Wis/​Oshkosh.

Carla has managed this business since 1997. Most of the employees are «University» age. there are a few high school employees, but most of the help is 18 – 32. It makes for a great atmosphere!

This place is great. I loved the atmosphere and this time of the year, the Halloween décor was good.
Chicken wings, awesome. Got the hot, which is more medium, not over sauced just right. Got the coaches pizza. Thin crisp crust with really good toppings. What can I say, delicious. The only thing I forgot, they cut squares in their pizza. No biggie. But one thing it did prove, that throughout the meal the pizza was always crispy!
Great customer service. When I come back, most definitely a spot to come back to.

I have been burnt for the last time on Players fish fry. The large pearch dinner 13 bucks had 3 tiny butterfly pieces and terrible store bought potato salad. Pizza is usually good and the burgers are fine. AVOID the fish.

Players is a great place for family and friends, the wait staff very friendly and the food is great. The atmosphere is fun lot of great Packer and Titan sport items. The table clothes are fun red and white checkered, menu has a vast amount of fun foods, great burgers, pizza and drinks.

Fabulous food. hand breaded onion rings, mozzarella sticks, zucchini sticks (crisp) and mushrooms! String sweet potato fries friedperfectly. Huge mushrooms on the mushrooms swiss burger… bartender very attentive.. fabulous place to eat! The décor is clever and fun! Go Pack!

Despicable customer service. Overcharging customers and then refusing to remedy the situation, instead telling someone to «get the hell out of here» is completely unacceptable. It’s unfortunate that even the owner is unconcerned with the way his managers treat people.
You could not pay me to set foot in this establishment.

This is an absolute favorite place of ours to visit when we are in Oshkosh. There are so many good things to name, that I will list pros and cons.
PROS:
1. Probably the best pizza in Oshkosh
2. GREAT sports bar atmosphere in Oshkosh. Sure beats the Bar or Buf Wild Wings.
3. GREAT prices
4. Very good menu. Large enough to give a major variety — small enough that they can cool all things well
5. More than your «bar food» type of place — they have Lasagna, pastas, and burgers, among many wraps, sandwiches and, of course.,…PIZZA!
6. The staff are all tenured college kiddos. So, they know their customers, are fun, yet very professional. Seriously good staff.
CONS:
1. If you order deep dish pizza, make sure that you say «keep it in a bit longer than usual». Sometimes the crust is doughy if not cooked long enough.
2. There are so many good things on the menu, my hubby and I usually argue over what to order!
Go to Players — you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Was in Oshkosh a total of 9 days for EAA Airventure — I think we ate at Player’s 4 – 5 times. The pizza was absolutely fantastic, and pitchers of Spotted Cow were only 8.00 — such a great deal. Loved the waitstaff — mostly co-​eds at the University — very friendly and down to earth.

Wheee!!! Family friendly place with checkered tablecloths and fun decorated walls.
Good for beer, pizza, and bar food. I wanted a burger, but my table was getting pizza, so I decided to make like a lemming and follow the crowd.
We got regular pizza flavors, but they had some unusual ones such as baked potato and cheeseburger, which I avoided since I’m a simple girl when it comes to stuff made of cheese, bread and tomato sauce.
And wings as an appetizer is a winner as well. We got a multisampler flavors of wings from mild to spicy and I just couldn’t make up my mind which ones were the best — they all were great and everyone in my party agreed with me.
